You know. I feel as my creations never catch on. I just made Bill's house, and guess what. 0 ratings! It enrages me SO MUCH! As I tried my best.

I also made a Hotel that I think should look like, and 0 votes again!

I'm trying to make villager's houses as popular as possible. Now that I don't ever get any ratings most of the time, I'm too afraid to design anything.

I feel similar to how you feel, though I'm not trying to make them to be popular or for them to be popular; the designs I posted on there I posted because I'm proud of them. Of course, I guess that is what makes not finding any ratings or very few to be discouraging whenever I check HHN.

Too, you gotta remember that 73,000 people submit to HHN, not all of those people vote, not all of them are in your timezone (and thus less likely to ever see yours). I don't mind not getting votes, but I really wish there was a way to get constructive criticism. I could make one of my villagers live in a moldy box and they'd still tell me that they love it. >_>

Yup; I'm aware of that. I agree; it'd be nice to receive constructive criticism. I've been considering having a giveaway of some sort before the game came out, so, maybe I'll hold one once I have more designs.

The hotel was cool. I especially liked the lobby with the fish tanks.

Bill's house was cool as well. How you made the decks was creative but seemed odd for it to be dark and raining. The atrium in the main room was my favorite part. Nice use of qrs ^^

Yep it was recognizably a patio and the back room was very backyard ish. The load of villagers in the tiny room made it seem like a super packed pool party which was cool

I've been looking through all of these and they all look so nice ^^;; All of your designs make me want to play a lot to get more things to design with! I just got the game yesterday so I don't have a lot yet, hehe.

The ones I'm proudest of so far are my cafe (0707-7789-392), and Goldie's house - a forest of books (0596-7782-412).
There's also Gloria's house - an alpine homage (0198-7789-328), Pecan's house - a chic and relaxed room (0100-7789-404), Mitzi's house - zen cafe with round furniture (0895-7781-453), my shop (0304-7781-430), and Louie's house - a 30th-anniversary party (0905-7781-360). Louie's house was one I kind of just put together quickly, but I'm hoping to update it soon.

Papercat ~ I'm visiting your department store right now and I want to tell you that I like it a lot! I can tell you put a lot of effort into this. The record/cd store was crowded with all of the customers you have in there though . I really liked how you arranged everything in the lobby and the items you used. As for the clothing store, I also liked the arrangement of the items and the use of the planters to border the cashier; nice use of the display cases too. I love the dining area (and one of my favorite villagers is eating there ) too.

Here's my comic book studio for Hazel. :] I'm really happy how it turned out, though I wish I had more comic book related qr codes to use to put up on the walls.

Thank you ^^ The motorbike is from Isabelle, any version of her unlocks it. I was reluctant to go all out on this but my bf was interested so he was excited lol.

Thanks! After spending a long time looking at other folk's work in the HHN I wanted to try something different. Also, I was kind of at a loss because I didn't actually have any art supplies to make an art studio with >_>
