My 2 favorite villagers...gone...

Since its release I have been playing Pok?mon X... And I made sure to regularly check on Animal Crossing, so none of my villagers would leave (as this would mess up my entire city and paths). So I did check every now and then... But then...... I forgot to check for like 2 weeks.... Because I was so distracted because of homework etc. and obviously Pok?mon.

So I logged in on my mayor account yesterday.. Of course my inbox was overflowing... So I went to Shari's house (which is right beside me) only to discover it has disappeared and I was like "NOOOOOOOOOOO". So I didn't dare to look at the town map (to see the other houses, as I remembered where everyone lives). I walked to Lolly's house (who is my favorite character) and again..... A patch of mud instead of her ugly house... I was SO disappointed!

... Everyone else would be OK, but why those 2!!!!? They were with me from the beginning :/. Funny thing is that I TT so much yet that never pushed them to leaving lol. Anyway, I learned my lesson. As Mayor I have to be responsible.

i think it's possible to prevent, just time travel backwards two weeks, the amount of time traveling backwards only counts as one day

You have to use the 3DS clock in Settings to do this before loading your game to make it think that it's the day you last played, but yeah, this works.

Oh thank goodness it seems like you can get them back. I'm so sorry you lost two!!! I didn't think that could happen. Let us know if you can salvage this situation.

Unfortunately, he loaded the game with his mayor, therefore it's saved. TTing backwards wouldn't do anything. That's why if you're are gone from the game for a while either make a new save file and check to see if any of your villagers are moving, if they are, tt back a few days and start a new file again to see if any are moving. OR make a note of the last day you played and change the clock date to that.

I'll be certain to never leave my game for long, tho. At the moment, my addiction rate is high so likely I won't have to worry for the time being.

There's actually a note game app thingy on your ds, that i personally use. It's the yellow pencil thingy on the top toolbar on your home. So if someone has a request or if i certain villager is leaving and i want to write the date down, i can press HOME and press the Yellow pencil and it doesn't close my game.

I use the Note app to keep track of fish sizes as I catch them. Got to be ready for the Fish Tourney.

Sorry to hear that! I've been neglecting the game since the release of Pok?mon X/Y as well, and even more so since the release of Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies. But I've already accepted the high possibility that one of my favorites will have left when I start my game up again, which I will do tomorrow for the Halloween event.

Maybe you'll get some great villagers in return!

Dang, I wish I knew that trick a few days ago. Hugh, my bro, moved while I was busy with Pokemon X and I was so sad! At the very least, if I had to get rid of one of my villagers, it'd be him, but still. If anyone else had moved, especially Marshal, I would've been devastated.

I think the reason I lost 2 is actually because of the fact that I played AC for 1 minute, walked by Shari’s house (which was besides mine) and saved the game… I think Lolly had already disappeared by then. And 2 days ago I discovered Shari was gone as well…

Thanks for the advice Rivulet and Dembonez19. I wish I knew about this earlier, but knowing this now will prevent this in the future .
