So , I have this old 3ds ( bought in 2011 ? back in the days lol ) It worked fine for 3 years , then this weird thing started to happen ... Sometimes , whenI'm playing with it and it I move it , the screen starts to wiggle wiggle and then ths 3ds shuts down . And after that it became worse . When I open it , I must put it on the table and in a very precise angle , or else , it will shut down . Does anyone of you have this problem in his 3ds ? If yes , can it be fixed . Thanks everybody !

My top screen's fold isn't as stiff anymore, because I've used it so much...but I've never had a problem like that before. o: I feel like it might be something that connects the screens together.

With the amount of times mine falls off my top bunk I've never had this issue but you should take it somewhere to get fixed

You should try to get it fixed or it just might be time to invest in a new 3DS that can work properly.

Mine has this problem if you tap it lightly, the screen will go black from dropping it so much. Sorry to hear that :[ Hope you get it fixed for a cheap price somewhere c:

Call Nintendo. They can look up the serial number and tell you if its still under warranty (doubt it tho, if it's 3 years old). Or traded in at game stop and buy a refurbished new 3DS and it will cost you very little. Just be sure it turns on properly when you bring it in. They only check for a second to have it come on.

Just get the New 3DS. It's perfect if you really like browsing websites and watching YouTube. it also is easier to manage the files on your sd card. Also has a better CPU.

i've had my 3ds for over three years, and the worst problem i've had is the grey thing on the circle pad becoming... well, un-stuck to the circle pad and being able to come off. everything else works completely fine, which is really surprising considering how long i've had it.

like others have said, you should probably either take it somewhere to get it fixed, or just get a new one. it's pretty unlikely to still be under warranty, considering how long it's been since you bought it.

You can try to have it fixed. I've heard of that problem before, I think it was connected to the cable linking to the power source, but then again, I'm not that knowledgeable regarding the unit itself. Most problems my friends encounter are the broken hinges, especially on the right side.

If not, I think it's time to retire your old one and buy yourself a new one.
