Title says it. My birthday is on May 9th, and I might be able to get a game (two if I'm lucky ) as my gift from my Mom/Dad.

So... What game should I get?

-Super Mario Maker
-The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD
-Pokk?n Tournament

I want all of these games equally, so please don't say " whichever you want " I just want to make a decision that I know I won't regret. So, just tell me what game and why I'll love it and won't regret my decision. Thanks for helping!

Happy Early Birthday! Out of the choices I would say Super Mario Maker. I have it and never get bored of it, although some levels users create definitely make rage quit lol

Bravely Second: End Layer! I think it came out in the US on April 23rd or so, and Animal Crossing if you don't have it yet xD

Pokk?n Tournament! I have it and I love it. The first two ranks are pretty easy, but it gets tougher and having the option to freeplay to level without losing your rank is great.

But anyway, yeah. I vote Pokk?n.

Definitely not Pokken, that game gets old super quick, I stopped playing it less than a week after it came out and it just doesn't have any lasting appeal.

So that leaves Mario Maker and Wind Waker HD. I personally like Wind Waker more. But between the 2 games, Wind Waker is cheaper and has less content. So I'd say get Mario Maker since you can buy Wind Waker later and you won't have to spend as much. Mario Maker always has new levels and has updates adding more costumes and structures regularly, so there's always a reason to go back to it.

So Mario Maker should be tour highest priority, and Wind Waker should be your second choice if you can get a second game. (Of you already have the original Wind Waker on GameCube and you didn't like it, then the HD version most likely won't change your mind on it. It's worth a shot though!)

Also your birthday is only 2 days off from mine :p

Super Mario Maker is bleeding creators due to levels being deleted without reason and they can't be reuploaded after deletion, so many of your favorite levels may suddenly end up gone one day. I don't think it's got plenty of single player content either, so I'd skip it completely.

The Wind Waker HD is a solid game, the biggest complaint from people I've seen was rectified with this release by speeding up sailing and tweaking the Triforce Quest. It's one of my favorite games and I would definitely recommend it.

Pokken Tournament is a fun game, but ultimately I suspect what remains of the online community is seriously competitive on the levels of Tekken/Street Fighter. I haven't played it yet, but the single player seems lengthy enough to justify it a little.

First of all, no. My mother won't let me play T rated games (Can't convince her to let me get Earthbound sadly)

Second, which AC?

Happeh bday :-D

Also, I've never played a Zelda game and I really want to get into them, so yeah, I don't have WW GCN.

I'd go with Mario Maker, just because of the constant updates and variety the game offers.

You can play the challenges
You can play random levels
You can play levels by Nintendo for rewards

and if you get bored of playing, you can "make" your own levels. This game has lasting appeal and replay-ability.

Did you get wind waker on GC? If so, there's no "new" content? Like, travelling is faster but the story telling is the same. I'm sceptical of HD remakes, cause it' s just the graphics are "updated" and not the story/game itself.

I've heard Pokken Tournament gets old really quickly because there's not content or replay-ability. That's just my opinion.

Go with Mario Maker.

Mario maker. You are getting the best out of your money and you'd get more entrainment from it than wind wake and pokken.

Get pokken if you are interested in playing it and devloping time to get good at it. I'd recommend it if you are willing to put up with a leveling curve.

I can't recommend wind waker for its asking price especially if you don't have an income or you don't get lot of games. It's a single player game with not lot of replay value, well not nearly as much as pokken or super Mario maker.

These are all such great choices, and I have them all so let's see:

Pokken Tournament is a great game for any Pok?mon fan, because there is nothing better for people who love Pok?mon than to control a Pok?mon and beat the crap out of everything. However, it could get old easily because the creators said that because the game is doing well on its own, it doesn't need DLC for now, which might be a problem since the roster is SUPER limited. Still a great game though.

Super Mario Maker is also very good! You can build whatever you like so it has very good replay value! AND if you have any amiibo, then you could make levels with different characters! So this game is very good since you could basically do whatever you want!

At last, the Wind Waker. While I was very skeptical with this game at first, I ended up liking it a lot, and even though people didn't find the sailing appealing, I actually loved it! It had a great plot, so I would definitely recommend it!

So, out of all these games, I'm actually going to say the Wind Waker! It's a great big world, and a great story. Super Mario Maker is also a good choice, but being a Zelda fan, I think that even though this game doesn't have as much replay value, it's still just as good of a choice. Oh, and Happy Birthday!!!! Enjoy whatever game you get!

SMM: Seen lots of gameplay and its looks amazing
PKKNT: Looks kool

I've decided....

Something funny happened:

My mother and sister were unable to find WWHD in stores, so they got me OOT3D.
