Do you thin that their will be items in the game that will be around for a limited time and then never be seen again? I am a huge completionist and I really hope that Nintendo wont make some items limited time only. It would suck to have to put down the game due to work or something and come back to find out that a whole event passed and you can never get the items that were in the event at a later date.

If this game is anything like NL, then yes. I think that some items will end up being timed, especially if they're offered through Pocket Camp. It sucks, but hopefully there will be ways to attain them through online trading at whatnot :)

Well, thats depressing :S

There's always going to be limited and time-gated items in Animal Crossing, be seasonal, event, or even a Holiday. The game rewards you for daily play by letting you likely obtain these sort of items.

likely so but as others have said, they’ll most likely be obtainable through trading if you miss the opportunity to get them in-game

I’m already grinding for leaf tickets if they try to pull a “exClUsIvE NeW hOriZoN item available in the pocket camp shop!!” I’m getting that freaking Sakura chair or bubble bench or whatever the the flick.

this is my #1 fear, I really don't want to have to play Pocket Camp in order to get New Horizon rewards

there one hundred percent will be. i imagine some of them will also be region locked, but once people figure out how to dupe items down the road i don't think we'll have to worry too much about it.

Agreed, the Pocket Camp game made plying animal crossing feel like a chore. It took the fun out and replaced it with repetitive boring gameplay. I would rather not have to play it at all. Heres to hoping that all pocket camp items will somehow be attainable in the full game too.

I know this is going to happen, They will for sure have exclusive items. Who knows they might release them again periodically?

small follow up on this:

Will they have regional items like they did back in NL? Like the 7-11 tie-ins? or the Campus set?

I can't even play Pocket camp, it's banned here in Belgium because it's seen as gambling :(

I don't think pocket camp and NH will be connected with events. More like happyhome designer where we got items when we have both games but nothing more. I think Nintendo is aware that many people don't play both games and they will get a lot of hate if other players get an advantage and cool furniture while others can't get them at all. I wouldn't worry to much :)

And in all ACs are exklusive items. The DLC items were also only avaible in a certain time frame ;)

I doubt it. New Leaf has event items, but you just wait another year. With it being tied into ACPC, though... Probably. But maybe not. I'm not very much of a completionist, so it doesn't bother me too much, but I can play most days.

If it is I'm over it. So much of pocket camp is the same stuff every year just a different color or so many leaf tickets there's no point.

Well they already require you to have Pocket Camp to get certain items, so definitely. I really don't think you can have this mindset for Animal Crossing though, there will always be region exclusive items and I think it's understandable for a game to reward you with something extra for owning another game. Like getting Link items for owning Breath of the Wild, but I think it would be best if those items (including the Pocket Camp ones) would be thrown into fortune cookies as well. No hassle for people who own the games/apps, but availability for those who don't.

Probably yes.

New leaf had limited downloadable items that changed every month when it first launched. One of them was a rainbow screen.

It was really annoying having to ask the forums for someone to give you every time you resetted. Thankfully I doubt I?ll be resetting at all in this game.
