Naughty or Nice

I think naughty actions being free and nice actions costing something is a good representation of real life. What's right isn't always what's easy. And giving isn't giving unless you actually give something. Heroes often make sacrifices; that's frequently what makes them heroes in the first place. I'm happy to spend bells to do good.

And the cost for being naughty is the toll it takes on your conscience.

The last few months, someone had to mess up my profile on TBT. I’ve been cursed by another member during the Haunted Carnival, then several members threw snowballs at me and stole my collectibles.

I know that the Powerpuff Girls had a Christmas special that featured a “permanent naughty plaque”. If you’re name is on there, you’ll only be getting coal from Santa for the rest of your life.

I bet that if TBT had a permanent naughty plaque, you will always be naughty no matter how many cocoa you send or stolen presents you return.

Yeah, I’m already below 1,000 TBT, something I vowed not to let happen again. I’ll probably stop when my balance is barely above 900 TBT, but I will still refrain from throwing snowballs and stealing collectibles.

I was just realizing, without people throwing snowballs and stealing presents, there would be no hot chocolate to deliver or presents to give back.

Nice can achieve balance but can never win. Naughty is always ahead the moment even one instance of naughtiness occurs.

Regardless, I'll fight the good fight. Or the nice fight, I guess.

Everyone deserves to be warm and have their things un-stolen.

Of course, I finally get enough gumdrops to afford a whole train, and it's the day that people are able to pull a Grinch on my collectibles. ^o^;>

I'll see my train someday. But of course, pointing out that I want to see it will just make all you naughty folks take them away even more.

A great deal of coal is going to be distributed to certain people, I'm sure.
