Need some Clarifications

So I can't figure it out but is it only Kappa who gives you unique islands or does this also extend to Dodo airlines with the NMT? A lot of people have the fun moss DIYs and I can't tell if they just become time gods or blew a bunch of NMT.

You cant go to kappn island through NMT or vise Versa

But the DLC does give some DIYs
Multiple characters and TT and it should be easy for those who do that to get them all

I was thinking this as well, all the islands I had went to with kappn was just ordinary islands like the typical ones you got with nook miles, was wondering if the nook miles ones also did the new stuff, however today I found my first one with some vies an new bushes on it, I guess it's just a waiting game with being patient for the new things, I've yet to be on any with a different time or weather though, all have been daytime with sun

I think Kapp’n islands are then only ones with these variations. It takes visiting a lot of them, though, to find one with different seasons or rarer DIY’s and characters besides gyroids. It took me about 20 visits before I started seeing different islands and items

only kapp'n will take you to unique islands, once per day. i've been to four islands so far, i think, and only seen the glowing moss on one of them. (the other three were wheat, sugarcane and brewster's.) on that island, my DIY bottle did contain a glowing moss recipe -- the rock one, specifically -- whereas on the other three, it just contained duplicate DIYs or, in one case, i think, a cooking recipe. i believe a glowing moss (or perhaps vine) DIY is guaranteed on the glowing moss island(s) or at least extremely likely, but there might be a chance of them on other kapp'n islands, i'm not sure. i know you can get some others through the DLC, although i haven't gotten that far yet.

Are you supposed to find crops on these islands, so far I haven't seen any crops on any of the ones I've been on, my first one was obvs brewster but then I got just regular apple trees an cosmos with weeds an I got one with glow moss, vines an the new Bush but I've yet to find any crops on any of them

Yes you can , I have found tomatoes and carrots on them.

People probably got all that glowing moss and vines in the HHP island, as there's lots of it there. If you have the dlc, you don't need to rely on Kappn' to take you to an island that have those.

It's just quite rare to find these islands I think. On top of the rarity among many different types of island possibilities adding to RNG, there is also the limitation of one trip per day if you aren't a TTer. Even if you do TT, though, the large variance of island types will likely take you a while to find a specific island that you're looking for; I'd say anyway.

Yea they are rare . I have not been able to find one that has vines or moss luckily I got those from the resort island.

Yes, I found all the crops plus vines and glowing moss on Kapp'n's islands. It's saved me so much time getting all the new crops as fully mature plants for my island.

This morning I went to a mushroom, acorn and pine cone island which was awesome to stock up on.

I've yet to find a shooting star or different season island though.

Let me put it this way, since people seem to be confusing Kapp'n Tours with Nook Mile Islands.

Kapp'n Tours are only used to find island that have different seasons, different crops to find, getting gyroid fragments, and of course getting DIYS and Materials.

Nook Mile islands however, they don't offer much although sometimes you can get a rare island where you can find a lot of bell rocks, catching rare bugs or fish to get a lot of bells, and of course you find a villager wandering around.

Its important to note that you cannot find villagers on Kapp'n Tours and sure there were complaints about it being one per day the quickest solution to that is to have additional users living on your island so that way you can go on Kapp'n Tours again to find a different island. If you wanted to do villager hunting then Nook Mile Islands are to go to.

It usually depends on your preference if you wanted to get materials .

I've managed to find vines an the new Bush on one of the kappn islands an I get my gyroid fragment as well, I guess I'll just need to get lucky with finding one that has crops, was genuine curious if they were rare or if it just wasn't working for me as I hadn't found any and by the sounds of it people were finding them on every island they were going to
