I?m hoping to have 2 or 3 split neighbourhoods in different areas of the island. Each home will have its own little fenced yard and stone pathway. Hopefully they will all be in groups of 4 or 5.
Hmm...I don't think I'll want them all clumped together, but I'll want maybe some small grouping within reasonable distance to one another because seeing them standing and talking together makes my heart happy!
It all depends on what the island looks like. Putting two or three communities of three to four villagers and then have Rocco and Savannah form a neighborhood with me.
I had that a few little neighborhoods in NL, and it was nice. I landscaped each area differently with bushes and flowers. I'd like to do something similar in NH, with homes in one area, a shopping center in another, and open space for paths, PWPs (once I see what they have), a camping site, etc. across the rest.
I'm still waiting until I've actually explored the island before making any hard decisions, but general groupings will probably happen.
while I'm still deciding on the main theme for my island, I am liking the idea of small villages. I might go for a few stules all around and see which villager feels right for each area!
I want to have several neighboorhoods and one will be close to the beach and only consist of white houses with blue roofs (the type from this screenshot below), so that it looks like a Greek island coast (like Santorini haha). I hope we can customize the villager's houses as well, but from what we've seen until know, I'd be surprised if we couldn't.
i'm thinking about doing something similar to this. now that it's been confirmed that we can move our player houses i think i'll be making a tiered neighborhood type thing where i have tiny clusters of houses with yards in a more random order than a "suburban" neighborhood but it'll still tie together and be a neighborhood. villagers i don't intend to keep will probably be allowed to move a bit further away from the neighborhood and i'll just create a lil path going to their houses whenever needed. i plan to make my house be the last house in the neighborhood.
i usually put all my villagers in a lil villager in ac:nl.
however, i feel as if everyone is going to start putting their villagers together now, since it's easier than how it was in nl. (paths and plot reset)
i really want my island to be unique, but i'm sure everyone's island will be very unique. i mean, come on, there are SOOO many possibilities with the amount of customization we can do now.
i will probably put like, 2-3 villagers together in different areas.
I’m leaning towards having a couple of housing clusters. I don’t want all of the houses to be crammed together, but I had a couple of neighborhoods naturally emerge in ACNL, and I liked the effect. I’m not sure how I’ll do it yet, but I’m thinking about putting together clusters of three homes or so.
I don’t want the island to feel really empty early on, though, so I’m debating whether to put early animals in different clusters. The main thing for me is what to do with Amiibo villagers, though, as I plan on retaining those long-term.
I really like the idea of spreading the houses out so everyone can have a yard! Having houses placed randomly makes for more interesting pathways in my opinion. The only reason I hated the way it was before is because they could place their house wherever they wanted, now I can choose!
I don't want all of my houses together, but I'd probably do them in little groups of 3/3/4 assuming we have 10 villager limit again. I want plenty of room for them to all have yards.
What it boils down to for me would be whether or not we can actually move them around later. A booth the villagers into their own little places initially, and if it turns out their houses are permanents, then I suppose I will have two neighborhoods
I'll probably make 1-2 neighborhoods depending on how many villagers we can have. I want them to be centralized, but not necessarily all in the same place.
