New Animal Ideas

I JUST noticed this part of the forums came into existence, and I was wondering what animals you all have been waiting for since 2012? Personally, I have REALLY wanted bat and bug villagers [wouldn't a lazy honeybee villager be so cute?] and even though they are already animals in the game, I have been hoping for more octopus characters and dog villagers that are pointy-eared [like german shepherds]

So, what are everyones' ideas for animals?

My main favorites that come to mind as of now are these!
A bee villager sounds way cute, but I am not too hopeful for bugs being in the game as villagers unfortunately haha.

now that you mention it, moth and red panda villagers would be so cute!! i hope that nintendo answers our calls and gives us a cute otter or red panda villager to obsess over lol

snakes would be SO GOOD for scary towns, since most people are scared of them. and a harry potter themed town would be so cool to make!!

I would love Otters, but that's already taken by a special character, bats would be really cool too though!

Definitely bats! I love animals like foxes and owls but I’m not a big fan of having animals that are also NPC/special characters as villagers (the exception being cats and dogs), I don’t know why. Maybe foxes could be better if they were animated and designed to look very different from how Redd looks, similar to how K.K. looks nothing like the dog villagers?
