I'd also really like grapes! I like the fruit trees for all the colour they bring into the town, my favourites being the peaches both regular and perfect with their pink / orange, and perfect apples with their dark, glossy red.
The concept of blue/purple-ish grapes growing on trees and adding their colour to the environment... yeah, I'd love that!
Other than that I really, really want berries growing on shrubs and bushes. Maybe even some crops growing on/in the ground, though maybe that would be too Harvest Moon-y? As a fan of that series though, I admit I'd be really happy to have something like that (though obviously not as fleshed out since it shouldn't turn into a whole farming sim!) and maybe even a cooking mechanic alongside it in Animal Crossing. ^^"" And since we already have turnips and a few food items that are edible...
I'd like to see fruits that grow on bushes, like berries! I feel like it'd be a cool way to add both more fruit and more interesting bushes and landscaping.
I want to have corn even though its not a fruit.
also tomatoes sound good too.
Basically I want farming to be in the game lmao
If there was a farming and/or cooking mechanic in the game I'd lose my mf mind!!!!

I'll accept any new fruits tbh. I think cooking and farming are also good ideas!! Especially with a game like Animal Crossing where it's kind of implied that you play daily.
Shrubs are a cool idea! I also read somewhere about grape/flower vines growing on the cliffs, which I think is a really good idea if they decide to bring those back. A few special seasonal plants (watermelons in the summer, pumpkins in the fall) that you could grow in a pocket camp-esque garden, and could actually harvest and use to decorate your home/town, would be really cute too.
