The Switch has a touch screen, but it seems like only a small handful of games utilize that feature..
Have we gotten any info on whether or not NH will be touch screen compatible? It probably wouldn?t make a lot of difference, except when it comes to typing (letters, names, etc). I think typing out letters would be such a pain without being able to just touch the letters.
Does anyone know?

How else would we design patterns? Even the wii had a point and drag :)
I think it will be!

It’d be cool if the physical copy came with a stylus, but Nintendo didn’t include one with Super Mario Maker, so I’m not expecting one with ACNH.

I’m surprised we haven’t seen any custom designs yet, Nintendo is being super secretive about this game, lol.

Yeah, I don't think a stylus is included with the deal I'm getting.

Is it a necessity?

It’ll make designing patterns a whole lot easier. That’s about it. Probably not a big deal to most people.

Oh, I never used those.
Except to make a town flag.

I guess we'll have something equivalent to that in NH.

I use the stylus for almost everything on NL, so I've been wondering about this too--not just for patterns. I actually didn't realise the Switch had a touch screen (I've not been paying attention to it because I was just waiting for AC the whole time) so I'm relieved we at least have that...still, now I'm really just hoping that it's actually functional for NL. I can't imagine having to use buttons and joysticks to move everything around all the time... And for those of us who do patterns, it would be a nightmare.
