New Japanese Commercial showcasing terraforming!

A whole bunch of new furniture and the creativity with the terraforming.

There's a whole lot of creativity in this game that Nintendo expanded upon.

Can you believe we made it passed this 9 month drought? 1 more week and it's ours.

There is a second new Japanese commercial at approximately the 31 second mark on this video put up by Game Explain.I'm not sure if it's already been posted...apologies if that's the case.

Omg I loved the little picnic scene with everyone eating the food

(I?m still getting used to the ?plastic? aesthetic of the art style?especially with all the indoor furniture placed outside it looks like a toy world rather than something organic. That said, I?m sure I can work with it just fine)
I've noticed that a little too, but I think a lot of it has to do with the time of day they're capturing the gameplay in. Even in New Leaf, I thought stuff looked better past dusk because the sunlight wasn't quite as harsh.

This makes me so hype but then I remember my sense of landscaping and my sense of design sucks, so my island probably won't look good at all lol

Well the good thing is that you can literally change anything and everything at any point

Ahhh, it looks incredible! I cannot wait to decorate my town. I remember when I first played New Leaf I was a bit annoyed that we couldn’t place furniture outside. Now that we can it’s opened up a world of possibilities. Just want to remind everyone it’s unlikely you can change the mouth of a river (where the river meets the ocean), or the beach, or the placement of Dodo airlines (if it has different placements idk). Those are really the only things you should stay mindful of

It's looking nice~

Now I see why people want to make onsen areas... because that onsen in the landscaping trailer looks gorgeous. I'm also doubly dedicated to putting my house on a cliff in the top left (with a small garden and a lake) as a result of it.

Although I'm slightly worried (although not for my sake, as I like triangle grass) that there's only triangle grass in this game

The Japanese commercials have all just been SO inspiring! They always give me so many ideas and things to think about. *squees*

This is so beautiful. I love how we can start waterfalls out of nowhere as shown there. So you can have paths right near the edge of a cliff, with the edge being water pouring down as if it's coming from under the walkway! You can even have the waterfall abutting stairs! So many design possibilities.

That island with the sideways stairs near the end with the girl in the witch's hat is stunning. I also love the little stepping stones in the garden with little ponds!

The previous footage we saw of the boy in the ninja costume on a cliff looked like a visually complex terraforming job too.

Inspiring is right! I can't wait to get my hands on those tools! Hope it doesn't take too long after the start of the game.

LOL Same here! I really hope we have something like the dream suite. There are going to be some AMAZING towns/islands and I want to be able to visit them. :) I'm sure I'll be happy with my island, it's just not going to blow anyone away.

I absolutely love the small-scale ponds and rivers. <3 So nice to see all the villagers sitting around casually too.
