New Mafia Board?

Vote to see if we can have a new mafia board! There would be benefits, such as gaining TBT bells, etc. Plus, even though mafia threads are stickied, you don't have to worry about the other games in the Basement prevent you form seeing if there is a new mafia post.

Because of the spam it would generate, I don't wanna see more mafia stuff when I look through the new posts, and it's what the basement is for anyways.

You'll see it regardless of if it's in a subforum or not though, if you're looking at the daily posts thing though. I don't want to see all the VTP crap, but you don't see me saying "No let's not have the VTP"

The villager trading plaza actually relates to Animal Crossing, however.

Well, the mods decided to do the VTP, and separate Re-Tail from being a sub-forum of AC:NL Online to being it's own board. If I recall correctly, the mods decided to put the CF boards into sub-forums of the Animal Crossing: City Folk board. All this done without community deciding (not a bad thing).

New forums and sub-forums should be a mod-decided thing.

I don't use the VTP. Why should I have had the right to make my poll a while back to say the ability to earn bells from it should have been removed?

Why would it matter who's commenting or not? Then it's a fair vote. Maybe someone who hasn't played mafia doesn't play it for a reason and wouldn't like to see a mafia sub-forum at all. For that reason and others similar, people who don't play mafia have every right to vote in this thread. This is a thread that everyone can see, therefore a thread that people can and will comment and vote on.

You had the right to make the poll as you use the forum as a whole and you have the opportunity to use the Trading Plaza.

Of course we will read any and all feedback in here to influence our decision, just as with anything else. But ultimately, it is our decision when it comes to these matters, and the results of a simple poll here isn't going to decisively make the final decision. So please don't get so worked up over who is voting in it. That goes for both sides of the argument.
