New Mafia Board?

Of course we will read any and all feedback in here to influence our decision, just as with anything else. But ultimately, it is our decision when it comes to these matters, and the results of a simple poll here isn't going to decisively make the final decision. So please don't get so worked up over who is voting in it. That goes for both sides of the argument.

Please keep things civil in here so we can keep the thread open for discussion.

I think it would be a good idea.

Non-mafia players have made complaints before about the top of the basement being clogged up with the mafia stickies, so it seems like a good way of satisfying both parties. I doubt there would be too many (if any) more active threads at once than there are now simply because it'd be too confusing if multiple games took place at once, so I doubt it'll have as much of an effect on the "New Posts" function as the non-mafia players seem to think. If anything, it should make mafia easier for them to ignore.

Yes, but I feel that we should wait until there are actually more games that can be archived in the board. If we were to make it right now I don't think there'd be much point and it'd be relatively barren.

I really don't see a reason to give Mafia it's own board, it'd be fine if there were plethora of players and games going but we typically don't have more than two games going at a time.

And iirc there was discussion a loooong time ago to give Pokemon it's own board, which got rejected. Pokemon is more popular than mafia and has been around way longer, therefore logic says no

There can be threads like Introduction to Mafia, IRC Mafia Quotes thread (though I haven't played it so idk if this is necessary), and other stuff. This. One quarter of the people who selected no have played at least one mafia game iirc, which I find a bit peculiar.
