New Switch Lite color

This colour is the most pleasing to me of all the options but I'm not going to buy it because three Switches would be ridiculous even for me unless they release an actual purple one then rip but I'm wondering do the Lites suffer from Joycon drift? If so, are you screwed? I know regular Switch Joycons can be repaired easily and I need to get around to doing that with my OG joycons but what about the built in ones on the Lite?

yes on the lite they also drift. Thats why l will be getting separated controllers for it

I really like the new color- it feels so nostalgic to me! I currently have a Coral lite that's about a year old and it has held up fine. The lites are a great more affordable option for anyone looking for a Switch. Ultimately I chose to upgrade to the regular switch but still love the portability of the lite. I won't be getting a second one but I might have gotten this color had it been available last year!

Instantly thought of the GameBoy Colour looking at this. It's pretty. I already have two Switch consoles so not one I'll be buying, but I certainly would have considered it if it were available when I purchased my Lite.

I really like it, though coral is my fave. I should get a new Switch though, the battery in my pee one is basically ****ed up lol.

It's funny, because the Switch Lite I customized not too long ago was supposed to look exactly like this.
I have to say, if I would ever get a Switch Lite (I want one so badly just to get a second Island..) I would probably choose
the new blue or coral. I just wish they would get more creative with the designs.. like, I made a galaxy version of the
Switch Lite and I feel like it looks so much more like a console and just less.. cheap? Maybe that's just me who thinks
like that, but well.. that's my opinion.

Anyways.. I think they should up their designing game. The last few special editions they brought out for consoles looked
rather heartless, especially the Super Mario themed Switch.

I think it's so pretty! I still prefer the coral one over it but the more colours I see for switch lites, the more I wish I hadn't bought the dark grey one (even though i only bought it because it was cheaper and came with mario kart)

Perfect timing, I'm planning to get a Switch Lite soon since my old one doesn't work anymore. The color looks amazing, I hope I get one on release day.

The Switch Lite will never interest me personally due to a combination of the drifting problem and me simply preferring to play video games on a big screen rather than handheld when given the choice.

That said, this new color is pretty neat. The similarity to the GameBoy Color, as has been pointed out throughout the thread, is certainly visually appealing.

Blue is not usually my favorite color, but I love this one soo much! Reminds me of a GameCube (which has got to be one of my favorite systems along side the N64). If I ever happen to have a need for a switch lite in the future, this one (or the coral one) would be my first choice. As of right now, I like being able to choose which way I want to play with my regular switch.

I love it, but I already have a Switch, and I specifically got the original because of the drift problems. It'd be great if they did something like with the New 3DS so you could easily and officially change the case, rather than having to get a new console or custom case that requires taking the system apart.

Also, I already have a regular switch so cannot justify having a second console. My switch is animal crossing edition too, so no way I’m shifting over to lite.

I'm not planning on getting a Switch Lite, but if I did it would definitely be in this color. Blue is my favorite color and I don't really like pastels, so this is the only color they've released so far that catches my eye. The gray one is the next best option for me, but it's just okay.

I was thinking of getting a Switch Lite! I was drawn to the Turqiose one but this one isn't that bad as it reminds me of the Gamecube.

Switch Lites suck because the joy cons are grafted on to the console, so when there's drift you can't replace them or do maintenance or whatever. Holding out for a switch pro in a year or two!

I'm normally not a fan of blue but I will admit I really like this new color! I already have a turquoise Switch Lite that's a little over a year old and works as well as the day I got it, but I can see the blue one becoming very popular.

Ah, that classic GameCube blend of blue/purple - love it. If I were going to get a Lite, I’d buy this one, but as a couple of hours have mentioned, I prefer to play on a larger screen and enjoy having the ‘either-or’ option.

I’ll put this on the list as a potential gift for someone.

It's super pretty!! With all of these new colors coming out, my regular old switch seems boring
If I didn't have a regular switch already, I'd 100% get this lite.
