I doubt the ocean will ever freeze in it due to it not being able to freeze in real life due to salt content,the heat of it and the fact it never stops moving and doesn't go slow enough to freeze. So in normal conditions it wouldn't freeze.

no the ocean wont freeze, the only thing i can see freezing would be the ponds, but i still doubt it

Apparently there are 3 exclusive "insects" that was only in the original gamecube Japanese animal crossing game. These were the crab, hermit crab and the coconut crab. One of the screenshots shows a sort of blue shell and apparently it's the hermit crab from the original game.

why is everybody discussing about the river freezing? What's the point of that? How are you meant to catch fish? Why didn't anybody mention snowball fighting? (Y) to that. & water bombs in the summer dayum.

I only said ponds because they're small and the fish you catch in them in the winter can be caught in other seasons so it can freeze and you wont miss fish

Actually, if you had watched the video the uploader had made a comparison with a screenshot of the hermit crab from the original gamecube version and the one seen in the 3ds version. They both look very alike... I don't think that's a coincidence right?
