New villagers

I know we've seen a few new villagers before the direct and we saw them in the trailer too but there was also a red elephant sitting under a tree at some point in the direct. Did anyone else see him?

How many new villagers do you think we'll get? I'm personally expecting maybe 20-30 new villagers. Every game has introduced new villagers so I'm glad that we're getting some in this one too

and about 7 new villagers have been confirmed so far so i’m not sure how many more there’ll be, if theres more aha

The red elephant is good, and the horse is alright. Not really liking the rest, but there is probably more.

Maybe an unpopular opinion but none of those characters are really sticking out to me. I'm sure there'll be a lot more coming in the game though, hopefully.

I wonder if they will make amiibo cards for the new villagers. It would make sense if they did. I'm also thinking that they would add at least 20 or so to the game if not more. Gotta get some new faces in there, right?

Though if patterns are anything to go by, does anyone know how many new villagers were added to New Leaf when it came out?

I love the Goat and Cat. The Elephant is pretty cool too, tbh they're all pretty good! Except maybe..the Cub is a bit much for me.
