Wii will have 30 old school game downloads at launch and they will require a classic controller (it looks like the NES one I think) sold seperatly for about 20$ Also in NP it said that in Animal crossing wild world to get on wifi anytime from nov 17th to 24th and you will get a special Legend of Zelda twilight princess Item that you wont want to miss. We can buy wii points each wii point is 1 penny so 2,000 wii points is 20$ you buy them seperatly at sroes in card form or you can buy them throught the internet with a credit card.

---ill update some more later cuz i gotta go and if someone can put pics like of the classic controller that would be nce.

Info thanks to-Nintendo Power

Sounds good...

Anyone have any idea on how we pay for VC games / Wii points other than buying them with the controller (which I don't even know of that exists here)?

If you think that this is a good list...

NES - Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., Ice Hockey, Pinball, Soccer, Tennis, Urban Champion, Wario?s Woods, Baseball, and Solomon?s Key.

SNES - F-Zero, Sim City

N64 - Super Mario 64

Sega Genesis - Sonic the Hedgehog, Altered Beast, Golden Axe, Columns, Ecco the Dolphin, Gunstar Heroes, Space Harrier II, Toe Jam & Earl, Ristar, and Dr. Robotnik?s Mean Bean Machine

TurboGrafx 16 - Bonk?s Adventure, Super Star Soldier, Victory Run, Bomberman ?93, and Dungeon Explorer...

You are severarly mistaken. There's only 1 N64 game and 1 SNES Game! Not to meantion that Japan is getting DKC...

You're forgetting the facts that we are getting the Wii before Japan and that there will be more games later on.

Storm is right, and you guys are forgetting something else; 10+ games added to the VC every month, so that's like a new game every 2-3 days! I LOVE the VC Launch list, just because it has lots of titles I missed that I REALLY want to play!

I added that wii points are with cards and you can but them on the net MDS are those games gonna be the launch ones and did you get that from a reliable source or NP that i didnt read?

2 SNES games? That list sucks...F-Zero is a cool game, but not as a launch VC game. Sim City? WTH is that........some good launch VC would've been DKC, SMW, Super Metroid.

You're saying you haven't heard of the legendary Sim City? Honestly.

I know! I can't believe SN claims he's a hardcore gamer and is kind of unaware of such classics... Quite beyond me. >_<

I've heard of it, but why would that be one of the two SNES games on this unofficial list. Also it isn't a legendary game...it's just an okay/good game.
Have you played it?

Nope =) why should I play a game I don't like.......or want to play........
In that case, you shouldn't be so quick to call it an "okay/good game", because it shows the following...

1. That you have no idea what you're talking about.
2. That you're biased towards what you like and what you like only.
3. That you don't know the history of the game.
4. That you don't know who Will Wright is.
5. That you don't know that this game is a spiritual pre-cursor to AC.

Point made.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SimCity

"...SimCity inspired a new genre of video games. "Software toys" that were open-ended with no set objective were developed trying to duplicate SimCity's success..."
