Next direct?

Oh, where did these rumours happen? :O

The magazine is definitely coming out on the 15th - that's been confirmed.

But the direct? That's me playing with numbers -
02.02.20
} We got the trailer 01.01.20 so I thought the direct would follow suit 02.02.20?
20.02.20

The 20.02.20 is exactly one month before the release so I'm just trying to think of the most logical outcomes...

The 2nd is a Sunday, the 6th or the 13th makes more sense. However, the 20th makes sense.

Sunday is a school free day in Japan. So it could still make sense (。◠︎‿◠︎。)♪︎

The 13th could make sense too, I agree with you on that!

Taking the 1 from January, the 3 from March and the 2 from the 2nd week of Feb.
Or maybe I'm over analysing ( -᷄◞︎ω◟︎-᷅ )

Directs are almost always on weekdays.

Keep in mind with announcements, the staff need to work to make it happen (marketing team needs to be on standby to post, monitor comments - technical staff need to make sure everything goes smoothly, etc) and most won't want to work on the weekend. They have families and lives and games they want to play (haha).

Staff at that level aren't like entry level folks who work retail or something who have to work weekends or whatever schedule they are given. They can say, nope, no Sundays. Or whatever.

I'm such a dope! I didn't think about that ฅ(? ロ ? ฅ)
Yes of course! Ooo so we'll have to go with 13 or 20 then (ू′o‵ ू)*✲゚︎♡︎♪︎

That reminds me, I need to log in to PC on Valentine's Day (。☌︎ᴗ☌︎。)❤︎

I hope there's one next month, especially since they've removed those stickers that revealed (more like leaked) those new characters.

I feel like at this point it's not going to happen, and it's really bumming me out. :/ They do directs for non information all the time. I don't know why they're waiting so late. I really hope that I am wrong though.

I hope they give us a little more information before release.

There are a few questions I'd like answered. :)

I mean, even just a regular Direct with a small bit on AC would be good.

BOTW2 apparently is 2021 now or so I have heard.

We have Animal Crossing and Pokemon DLC this year, and that's it for big releases.

No i think they defiantly will do a direct. I don’t think they would leave people high and dry for it. This and only Pokemon i think are there big game releases they won’t not talk about it

I don't think we will get a full direct, at this point. I think one to two weeks before release we will get a 2 or so min long trailer with a few new features in it. I hope I'm wrong because I'd love a new direct, but I also think the Special Edition Switch was their last big drop before release.

I don't want another Direct now. I want to be as surprised as possible when I first play the game.

They'd probably still do a direct to bring in new players. It's all about expanding the fanbase (╭︎☞︎•́⍛︎•̀)╭︎☞︎☆゚︎.*・
