Main Thread: The 2009 Nikolympics
This is one of the 4 Events to be held during the Nikolympics. This Thread is for signing up for the Brawl Event. If you sign up for this particualer Event, then you:
1. Promise the Admin that you will be here and not be a "no show". The Admins are working hard to make this Event fun for you all, and not showing up makes it harder for them.
2. Will participate in BOTH Mini-Events. If we let you sign up for only 1 of the Mini-Events here, it will just make this Event even smaller. We want you to participate in the full Event!

Below is the Rulesets and Mini-Events for the Brawl Event. Remember these Rules and do NOT break any of them!_________________________________________________
<big><big>Super Smash Bros. Brawl!</big></big>
Intro:
Welcome all, to the Super Smash Bros. Brawl Event in the Nikolympics! You can read, discuss, and sign up for this particular Event. Heh, this one will probably be the biggest, because Brawl owns.The Brawl Event will have 2 Mini-Events. The first Event is the Crew Battles, followed by the Brawl Singles. Each one will be explained below.
Crew Battles:
Note: This is best out of 1 game, so winner of the first match wins. The Brackets are also Double Elimination.
- Each Crew has 5-10 players, and each Crew must have the same number of players as the opposing Crews do to make the Mini-Event fair.
- Each player has a total of 3 Stocks. Every match has the Standardized Ruleset (Only Neutural Stages, No Items, 8 Minute Time Limit). The Crews will start by picking who out of their players will go first.
- After each match, the losing player is out for the rest of the Crew Battle. The Crew who lost their player must choose who goes next. The winner of the previous match must keep their stocks that they had left after winning, unless they never died. Example: Player 1 wins and has 2 stocks left. He must fight the next player, which will have 3 stocks, and Player 1 must kill himself once. This is to make the Crew Battles fair, becuase if a really good player was chosen at the beginning and never loses or keeps his stocks, then his teammates wont be ale to play.
- These Rules will continue on until one of the Crews have no more players left to send out.
This will be the first Brawl Mini-Event so start, followed by Brawl Singles.
Brawl Singles:
Double Elimination (Winner/loser bracket)
All rounds are best out of 3, exept for Semi-Final and Final matches, which are best out of 5.

Stock: 3 lives
handicap: Off
Stock Time Limit: 8 minutes
Damage Ratio: 1.0
Stages:
At the beginning of the set, each player will pick a stage to ban for the 3 matches. The 1st stage to be chosen will be by the Random Button. The 2nd stage to be chosen will be loser's pick, and the 3rd stage to be chosen (if made to) will be loser of the previous match's pick. This also goes with 4th and 5th matches.
No Stalling the time of the match so you can win. Again, NO STALLING! If there is 10 or less seconds left, Then this is allowed.
Remember to set "Random Stage Switch" to only the Neutural stages!
Note: If you do not have Random Stage Switch in your Rules, then you do not have all Stages yet. If you do not have them all before you fight your opponent, then the 1st Stage to be played on will be Final Destination.
Stalling: The act of deliberately avoiding any and all conflict so that one may make the game unplayable. Running away from an opponent to reach a better position is not stalling.
Here are the list Stages that can a can not be used in the Tournament. Neutural Stages are the ones that are Randomly chosen during the first match. Counter Pick Stages is the Stages that the loser of the previous match may pick. They can also pick one from the Neutural list.
