i remember reading about this and not entirely understanding how it would work lol, but this is so neat! it’s kinda like a real-life club LOL. i’d love to go one day as well, it seems like such a cool experience to have!

I watched this during the livestream and tbh it wasn't as hype as I thought it'd be because the crowd was too chill. Like I can't imagine having to SIT throughout this entire thing! If I was there I'd want to dance and scream at the top of my lungs!! Ugh. The actual performance was still really good tho, I loved that they gave some of the less popular villagers a chance to come on stage. Also for anyone who doesn't wanna watch the whole thing you NEED to at least skip to 20:24 of the vid (it's the best part!!)

@JKDOS & @xara I also thought of NL when I watched this and happy to see what Club LOL can be irl instead of just me, 2 friends on a rare occasion and 1 villager haha it was so sad!

@zarf I’m not Japanese, but I think it may be a cultural thing in concerts, etc. I read an article decades ago of an American band that performed (sry I forgot in Japan or Korea) and the audience clapped politely instead of screaming.

The band thought they hated the performance but turned out they loved it, it’s just their thing not to scream it out loud.

Maybe someone who’s Japanese or familiar with the culture can verify this?

And yesss 20:24 is the best part lol!!
