NOTHING has been confirmed. No WiiHD/Wii2/etc. And 2012 is a little to soon. I'm pretty certain that Nintendo plans to keep Wii going until at least 2015.

How so? Evergreen titles like Wii Fit and Mario Kart Wii will keep the Wii going for years. And with Motion Plus on the way, we've only seen the beginning of what Wii can really do!

Because anyone who has really played Nintendo consoles knows they've been going downhill with the quality of their games.

That and the fact Microsoft and Sony will have a 2-3 year head start on Nintendo in the next gen, which will kill their sales. That's why Nintendo will release a new console in 2011-2012.

That and they want to whore themselves out more to casuals for more money.

Uh, Nintendo games have only been going uphill... And you do realize that Nintendo is crushing their competition right now, right? But anyway, Nintendo doesn't really care about what their competition is doing. They'll make a new console when they feel the time is right,
