No in person friends

What other forms are out there? I have this and my tumblr

There's AC community which sucks imo and is very outdated, and there also Discord channels (not exactly forums but can emulate them well)

Hello! I'm in a different boat as I do have people around me that play AC, even ones I wouldn't think to even touch the game. However, I don't think you should hide it! Also, don't be ashamed of things you enjoy, & forget the people that judge you! Who knows, you could show some friends this game & they may become interested like I did.

Also, my switch code is in my signature! I'll be your friend!

I have this problem too! Maybe some of us on here can create a nice group of friends to hangout and play together at each others islands :)

I have to agree with you in that I have literally no friends who play this game. Then again I have very few friends who even bother to play video games in general. I mostly play with online friends. You should have to hide that you play this game though, theirs nothing to feel ashamed about. If your friends cant accept you for who you are, they aren't true friends. I feel lie a lot of people hide that they play certain games and in reality no one really cares. I hid that I played Pokemon for years to only find out that everyone I hid it from was also playing those games and I had no clue xD.

I agree! In fact, instead of hiding your love of the game you might want to consider consciously showing it! By having an AC keychain on you, for example. Who knows, you might find new people who love the game and make new friends that way. :)

I've had the luck of growing up with a brother who loves the series as much as I do. So we've always experienced the hype and the joys of the game together.

This is so true!

With only one minute left before class, I ran into a girl with a Nook keychain on her backpack and literally rambled ?your keychain?I love it!?, quickly followed up with pointing at her asking ?New Horizons?!? as I rushed out the door. I never had time to hear if I got a response, but I?ve thought about it ever since.

I understand how you feel. The only two people I know in real life who play it with me, are my mom and an older friend whom I met awhile back. My older friend is in her 70's and she still loves playing the game lots and all three of us, her, my mom and I are going to be playing New Horizons together, but other than them, I don't really have anyone close to my age group who I know in real life who likes to play Animal Crossing. It's OK though, I'm sure one day there may be someone else who will play with me who is close to my age group.

Sometimes you just can't give up hope. I know a lot of people say Animal Crossing is a kids game, but hey, my older friend like I said is in her 70's and she still plays, so I don't believe that it's a kids game at all. So don't be afraid to show your love towards the game. I'm sure there will be someone who you'll find that likes playing it too. You know what? Anyone can entice another person into playing the game, even you and me.
