No more switches in WA State!

I’m not sure if it’s out of anticipation for New Horizons or because people are self quarantining and bored but I cannot find a switch for sale in Washington by the Seattle area.

I have animal crossing pre ordered and now I’m getting nervous I won’t be able to play since Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart, Target, and GameStop are all sold out.

I guess this is my bad for waiting to buy a switch. I am pretty bummed right now!

unfortunately, this was definitely something people spoke about here as well as around where i live. also because they're manufactured in china, we aren't really getting shipments in as much so there's lots of delays and will be a shortage with supply. many places will have them sold out~ but maybe you can try ordering online from other sites instead? or even try ebay.

Oh wow! Corona virus is messing a lot of things up.
I’ve looked at 3rd party sellers and they’re all a lot more expensive then what the switch should be.

This. I live in Washington state as well & the alerts helped. Although, I did get one at walk-in early release Walmart. I'm not sure they would still be in stock, especially because of scalpers.

As of last night, a couple Walmarts in my area still had the AC Switch. If I was more trusting, I'd be more than happy to pick one up for you and ship it, but $350 is a big hook to be on for an internet stranger.

yeah, but dealing with real life currency isn't allowed on the forums, but i guess if you guys kinda knew each other outside of the forums, you could talk about it there, and probably do that IF that was something possible, and pay with paypal and ship it for them providing a tracking number of course that way, it's trusting on both ends, you'd receive your money back through paypal, and provide them with tracking information. if you were to lie, they'd have buyer protection anyway. but i don't think dealing with this is allowed on the forums tho (i could be wrong but idk if it's just paying for ac items and collectibles etc not allowed or what exactly are limited)

try target, they seem to have a black one in stock for seattle area? you can try other colors for gamestop too

You’re so kind, thank you for all the suggestions. I was able to find one but had to drive an hour each way to get it.

i live in a smaller city and had this same problem - i went on a few local secondhand sites like varagesale and facebook marketplace and ended up getting mine for a really good price!
