No new villagers?

I think they'll pull of a Pokemon Sword And Shield (Or an Animal Crossing Wild World in a way,) and take like out half of the villagers and add new ones and allow us to get them back. I mean Wild World gets a pass due to City Folk and New Leaf bringing most of them back. Personally I would rather have them have no new villagers and bring everyone else back.

Let’s not compare a company that’s has 800+ Pok?mon that has dozens of spin offs and 8 generations to a series of only 400 or less animals and has had less then 4 main tiles (spin offs not counting, and npcs just villagers)

I honestly hope they’ll do what smash did and bring everyone back (makes me believe the WA update for NL was to see if they want them back.)

And I could be wrong, but weren’t some animals not added back in ww from acg because of limitations of the cart?

I won't really mind that much if there are no new villagers. I would rather have some of the older ones (Monpe) From previous games come back over new villagers, but I'll be happy either way. I'm sure they'll be something new, because the trailers so far look like they're trying to make it everything we've been waiting for.
