I just noticed that TBT does not have an SSL certificate. I think the staff/owners should get an SSL certificate, because it encrypts the data sent thru the site and prevents attacks. You can get a certificate thru CloudFlare or letsencrypt for free. Everything being sent thru this site is not encrypted and is open to anyone.

Just as a reminder to everyone reading this, HTTPS is only useful if someone is hijacking the data between you and whatever router you are connected to. The only place where you would really need to worry is at, say, McDonalds or Starbucks where anyone can access the network. If you're sitting at home worried that a hacker is about to pick up on your favorite villagers, you have nothing to worry about.

TL;DR don't log in to your bank accounts on public WiFi

I guess I meant less public WiFi and more just not in public at all, I don't trust prying eyes

Mmm, you never know who's having a peak at your screen. With smartphones and tablets it would be fairly easy to read someone's password as it's typed in but at least banks will almost always have another layer of security. Here in the UK you tend to have a second password of which you enter three random characters when logging in, using dropdown menus which I suppose protects against keyloggers too.
