Non-Exclusive Backdrops

I feel like the addition of backdrops is one, if not the best addition to the forums since 3.0. However, it's so sad that backdrops is limited to just events or special occasion. What if we could buy non-event related backdrops for a limited time (like 2 weeks) that are available throughout the years. It would be a lovely idea so what do you guys think?

I would love to see some permanent backdrops. I would definitely be willing to drop a good amount of TBT on a nice backdrop that I could use whenever I wanted.

They could have permanent and semi permanent backdrops.

This suggestion tends to arise whenever we release a new backdrop, so I'm just going to quote my response from a previous thread:

We stated this back when the Fair backdrops were active, but of course we have discussed the idea of potentially introducing permanent backdrops someday. If we do introduce them then we have our own idea of how they would work and this is very different from what is suggested in the OP of this thread. If we do eventually introduce them they would be significantly more expensive than the Fair and Halloween backdrops, which are considered a discounted limited time/test rate.

I'd of loved it if this current backdrop was permanent, tbh. don't think having prize backdrops be permanent would be too unreasonable either tbh, but alas

maybe in the future, permanant prize backdrops can be a thing

I'd be completely fine if backdrops costed 200-500 tbt as long as they're permanent.

I would love to have a permanent backdrop, even if it costs a little bit extra than the ones at Halloween and other events. Just one more thing to collect other than collectibles.

I think permanent backdrops that cost tbt should be lowkey, sort of how they look like on flight rising with a sort of transparency to them- otherwise I feel like they'd clash with so many different ones, and I think more bright and fully colored seasonal ones should be able to be reused and stay in your inventory when each season comes along again!

I love backdrops, and I think it would be cool if they had seasonal backdrops that could only be activated/visible in that particular season (kind of like how the fireworks collectable is visible only during special occasions). This way members can collect a bunch of backdrops over the years while still being able to use old and new ones during their designated season.

i personally like the exclusivity of event-based backdrops but i think i’d like permanent ones even more! cost wouldn’t really matter to me as long as it’s nothing outrageous like,, 1k for one lol. but i’d definitely be willing to spend a few hundred on a permanent backdrop!

I like the idea of a permanent backdrop. I haven’t used one because they’re only for a limited time. Having a temporary change seems like a waste of TBT to me, but I’m glad other people seem to like them!

This, I've only bought one of the rainbow ones they did for around easter cause it was a beauty but yeah I don't like spending on stuff that goes away to be fair. So, yeah more permanent ones!

I think they'd be nice, but only if they were non-tradable. I personally wouldn't want what could essentially be another line of collectibles to sell or trade.

I'd be fine with it. I agree with @Foreverfox though, I wouldn't want that to turn into black Friday online with people trying to get permanent backdrops. I personally wouldn't care how much they are, I'd buy it! Especially if there was some way to customize it into different colors

I think it would be cool like we have for the animated avatar if something was very expensive in the shop but allowed you to even just change the color of the background. I'd totally save up for that!
