Nook Stop Special Items?

Does anyone know when the Nook Stop will have new items beyond what is available after Residental Services has upgraded? I know more Nook Miles furniture will be added at some point but I'm unsure if it happens after reaching a certain milestone in the game, if it's seasonal or just not included in the current version of the game and will be added in a later patch.

From my experience, the special items that are offered at my Nook Stop have always been the same (like the items you can order under "special items", not the ones that cost NM), even after upgrading Residential Services. But as you've said, you do get new furniture items that cost NM and the colors you get are specific to your save file (for example, if you have the option of purchasing a red lighthouse, you will always have a red lighthouse, rather than blue or another color). And then of course, you can always order more items from the catalog that you have had in your inventory at some point (besides craftable items and NM items).

Thanks for your answer. I think right now there are no new Nook Mile items available in the Nook Stop for anyone besides the the ones you start with. I should have made it clear my post that I wasn't referring to the other colour variations, sorry about that.

I've seen from videos of players with pre release review versions of the game that there are other Nook Stop items programmed into the game they are just not available yet. So my assumption is they will become unlocked in a future update. Thanks
