Never donated a single bell to my town.

Never had more than 10k in my bank.

Payed off 1st mortgage, I still owe 110,000 on my second,


i have about 500 nook points.

Hmm, could it be possible that donating to your town every day could put a hold on Nook's?

I honestly believe that time is a factor in some manner, perhaps x amount of days after you spend 25,000 at nooks

Guess that theory was correct because Nook said today that he'll be upgrading tomorrow so he'll be closed the entire day.
