My family is kind of poor, and I earned my DS with my own money when I was 10, and now my little cousin broke my DS lite! >:O

I'm DYING to play anything that's not a GBA game, (which shows up on the top screen) but the touch screen on the bottom is all blurred and flashy and stuff. It just changes colors, but I can still touch it, even though I don't know what I'm choosing. :'(
I'm pretty sure nothing on the outside is wrong, but something on the inside broke.

Does anyone know if someone can repair DS Lites?
Because I REALLY don't think we could buy another. My friend says there's someone around who can, but HELP!

And no, don't say DSi, because I still like to play GBA games on it.

did'ja call nintendo? theres a number on the back (i'm pretty sure anyway) they can probably do sumthin with it

You could probably get it repaired for a small fee (i doubt itd be free unless it just broke itself)

Never thought to call Nintendo.... *facepalm*

And the 2 or 3 year old has his own DS, but he forgot it and he borrowed mine.
Then he fell and dropped it on the sidewalk. >_<

He can only play animal crossing on it though.
EDIT: Even if he's not understanding of the point, he likes to run around.
