Not sure if right place to post, but why did some usernames just turn brown?

I don't know if this is just me but,

Why is my username brown?
I looked at the color key and it can mean a lot of things but it JUST turned brown?
And it's not just me

But not all are brown?
I think I saw some who's users aren't brown?

I was literally just about to post about this :v I believe it might be that senior members have brown names, and newer ones have black names? At least that's just what im guessing from what i've seen so far.
