Has anybody had new messages on their notice board since day 1?

I've had nothing new on there since I put a message on there on the first day.

A glitch?

since we have the daily announcements now i get the feeling the noticeboard is just for visitors to leave messages in this game

Yeah, I see that as more of a "guestbook" for visitors to leave messages on when they visit you

I haven't had anything and I'm really sad! I used to love seeing the little announcements of "we have this awesome deal going today" or "it's this person's birthday, make sure you go give them a gift!"

Yeah the verbal announcement replacing the written messages kind of makes sense actually.

I've none too and I think Tom Nook said he'd be posting whenever new villagers move in so it's very strange.

I’ve noticed too kind of miss when nooks post about sales. The only other post than the welcome posts Tom nook has made is a post announcing my birthday coming up in a few days xD

Yeah, I've also noticed they're gone. I wish they still notified us of things like meteor showers like in NL, but it does seem to be a guestbook more than a notice board.

you get notices for events, holidays, birthdays, and tourneys i tted a few months to move out a villager and had to clear up like 10 that had built up

i have fauna and i didn't get a notice either her birthday was mentioned in the announcement but not on the bulletin board

Because things just started, maybe hers was too close to the beginning for a message to go up? I'll have to keep an eye out as my villagers' birthdays come around.

Eunice's birthday is April 3rd and I got the notice a couple days ago, so I believe if their birthday passed shortly after you got the game it may not post something to the board. I think they post the notice a week in advance!

I actually forgot about this completely. Now you mention it, I remember him saying exactly that which is even stranger.
