Now that they've brought back the carp banner from GCN, what's the one item you want back?

The carp banner was also in New Leaf, in the Japanese version. But it was an orderable item so it was easy to get

An underrated feature is the journal from GCN

the windmill PWP, rainbow screen, and the thick glasses and hairbow wig. (along with some other clothes.) especially the thick glasses though. baffles me that they have so many glasses in this game but left out the most basic/obvious pair. my character doesn't look right without them.

some of the furniture series would be nice to have. the exotic series was always one of my favs...plus the glasses that Moritz mentioned too. i wore those everyday lol

I'd love to see literally any of the GracieGrace sets return and some of the food items. I can't even see myself using the food items too often but I just love the look of some of them.

There is so many items I would love to see come back. Food items, windmill, wisteria trellis, topiaries. The Gracie sets especially the sweet series. I would also like to see the candy house return.

While there are plenty of items that weren't included in New Horizons that I would love back, the one that jumps to mind most readily is the throne. I had Ankha in my main New Leaf town for years and then decided to move her out and get her in New Horizons because she fit my theme, but her house in this game is a definite downgrade since her throne is now...a golden toilet. She went from having a nice house in New Leaf to having probably the worst of the Ancient Egyptian style houses in New Horizons; both Boris and Diva's are way better than hers in this game. Also, I know that we have the Golden Seat in this game, but it would also be too big for her house and would end up replacing something else, whereas the throne could just go either where the toilet is or across the room.

I want the food items, 7-11 set, sweets set, gracie’s clothes (especially the sandwich shirt; and be able to customize furniture with clothing and qr design clothes), manneqins, windmills, candy house from hhd, sloppy set (we got the rug but where is the furniture?), armored suit, bow, sword, abd. I noticed the school desk looked different in hhd and i honestly would like that instead of the school desk we got since it looks old) and the record boxes looked like it was out of cardboard and not plastic in HHD. So i fear that if they bring any of the items we want back, they will modify them.

I did the same thing! I had this whole idea for a windmill field on my island and was so disappointed when they were nowhere to be found

There are so many good answers here, I'd love Gracie and her sets to make a comeback and really wish the New Leaf PWPs would return too

but I'm gonna throw in something pretty specific that drove me nuts when I found out it wasn't in NH: the wheat field!

I thought it was so much fun to walk through it but I never used it in my NH or CF homes because I didn't like doing "exterior" rooms, but now that we can put furniture outside this felt like a no brainer to me

Yea I did the same thing. I was surprised and disappointed that the corn stalk wasn’t in the game. There are so many nice plant items from new leaf I wish they had included.
