I have a small collection of rings that I put on this thread necklace. It started as something like a reward/memorable ring necklace decoration thing. When starting the collection I wanted to buy a ring of an anime that I finished recently. I never really expanded on the collection due to other priorities for money and nerdy stuff is something I like to get as a gift rather than buying it with my own money.

So the first one I got on the necklace is a Sword Art Online ring that has Japanese characters on it too. Then I have one of those "mood rings" that I bought forever ago but decided to add onto it because I think the concept is neat even though it's most likely just the heat of your skin. Then I have a ring I got from Disney World that has sapphire in it because that is my birth stone. Next I got a Legend Of Zelda ring. Finally, I have a Lincoln Park ring that I saw online near the time of Chester Bennington's death. I'd love to get more but money is an issue T.T Maybe my next one will be an AC ring if I can find one?

Anyway, what are some odd things that you collect? ^.^

I have keychains and magnets from every place I've traveled since I turned 15. I collect my boarding passes from flights, nothing weird but I also have a collection of dream catchers ^_^

Oh and I also collect anything space related

I used to collect bottle caps when I was younger (no I dread what fairness to them though.

now I like to keep empty boxes of things I buy like perfume boxes and I still have the box for my 3DS XL. They have no purpose but I like them so in the back of my wardrobe they shall stay

I don't collect anything now, but I collected plenty of things when I was a kid... the most odd thing was probably coat hangers... yeah...

i like to collect strange dollar coins that i come across!
i have a collection of ones with different engravings to the regular ones, such as anniversary or special event ones (i.e olympic-themed ones) or obsolete coins which arent minted anymore.

Besides amiibo's, Dorbz figures.

Mainly Game of Thrones and Supernatural.

Lmao I do this too! I have all my Amiibo boxes and console boxes and stuff. My family thinks I'm so weird, and honestly I should probably just ditch them.

idk if this is necessarily odd, but I collect limited edition Barbies (mostly the holiday Barbies). Some of the non-holiday ones are a 2000 Olympic Games Barbie and an I Dream of Jeannie Barbie. I also have some unique (well, to me) coins that I would trade out for at work-- one of them is a Canadian quarter, which I thought was pretty cool since I'd never seen one before.

It's not weird but I like keychains and pins a lot.
I used to collect rocks a lot as a kid.

I don't really collect anything nowadays. I used to collect sticky-notes back in elementary school, though.

I suppose it's not exactly weird, but I collect concert wristbands and movie tickets. I'm not even sure why, since it's not like I go looking at them and go 'ah fond memories'. That's what the photos and videos of the concert are for (or rewatching a movie). But for some reason, I just can't throw them out.

I used to have this weird want of having a ton of pencils... glad I'm done with it lol.

I still have the box for my Splatoon 2 themed Switch. It's a beautiful box.

I collect plushies and stuffed animals. They help me cope when my anxiety and bpd gets out of hand. Its been like that since I was a child. I also like to collect the popcorn buckets from superhero movies.

Ugh, I collected tons of stuff when I was younger. One thing that I used to collect was those vintage
troll figures (you know, the ones with the colorful, fluffy hair). It all started when I got random a tiny
troll figure out of a toy machine. I was so excited about it that I wanted more of them. After all, I
think I had around 100 of them in all kind of sizes, I found them mostly on flea markets. When I got
older, I lost the interest in them, as I also started to like other things back then. However, I still
have some of them stored in a box.

Now I don't really collect something specific, I have some little plushies and figures from video
games or TV shows I like. But it's not a big collection at all and not worth to talk about it.

I did this when I was younger too. Not rare bottle caps either, milk tops, orange squash tops, Coca Cola tops, Fanta etc. When I was about 6 or 7 I collected empty McDonald's Happy Meal boxes. Eventually they just thrown out from where I'd hidden them under my bed. Who knows, they might've been worth something today. Also collected random gemstones and fossils, not like some do because they think they have magical properties but just because I liked the look of them. I still have a couple of quartz, amethyst, geodes and a chunk of pyrite left.

Nowadays I collect mainly key rings, although the massive cluster of them which weighed about 2kg has gone missing since I moved house a few months ago. Had about 8 or 9 years worth of keyrings on it, any attraction I went to I'd generally buy a new one to it. I also started collecting pressed pennies, you put a 50p or ?1 coin in a machine along with a 1p and it flattens it and leaves an engraving on it. Did have about 15 or so of them too which looked pretty cool, but most of them went missing.

Also guilty of collecting boxes of stuff, despite the rest of my family telling me I should throw them away. Mostly it's under the excuse "what if I have to send it back", but with stuff like 3DS games and PC games I learned my lesson the hard way a long time ago when I found that when selling them second-hand they'll often sell for 50% more if they come with the box and instruction manual. Same goes with pieces of hardware though, I find if it comes boxed it has more assumed value, maybe people assume the article is better taken care of.

The weirdest thing I collect is dead things, and pieces of dead things... =D

I also collect rocks and stones, stuffed animals, dolls, zombies, and giraffes. There's probably more but I can't think of 'em right meow

When I was a young kid, I collected buttons. Nowadays, I collect cd's, pins, and records, all mostly secondhand from thrift shops or music expos. My habits aren't really odd or unique, but I do have a bit of a sizeable collection.
