Imbri
Resident Night Mare
Yesterday was fairly quiet. I attended the ceremony for the opening of the Police Station; since it was early, only Pekoe was there, but it's done and I could move on to other things.
Other things meant moving my cosmos field from the entrance of my secret beach to above the campsite. That opened up the space above Antonio's house for the windmill. I dragged Isabelle over, got Lloid set up to take thepayoffs donations, and replanted my tulips so they will surround the windmill. Cliché maybe, but they were already there, so it was an easy fix.
Tom didn't have anything worth purchasing for the boys' houses, so after Sapphire bought clothes (still working on Mabel's and Labelle's mannequins), all three tracked Saharah down for new carpet/wallpaper. Between the four, I got a couple of new items for my catalog, but much of it was sold. Reese was paying premium for carpet, so that worked out well. The remainder of the money they had went toward their loans. I'm getting close to being able to get the final expansion on the main room for all of them.
It rained off and on for the morning, and that produced a double rainbow in the early afternoon.

I love rainbows, whether IRL or in-game, so I had to just hang on the bridge for a bit to watch this.
Gulliver sent me an Ayer's Rock as a souvenir. I've got it, along with the others he's sent, in the left-wing for now. I may have to move them to another room, at some point. Or maybe I'll just keep a few of the smaller ones that I like and sell them off, since I believe they are re-orderable.
I need to get on the stick about paying off my loans, so I can get the final expansions on my side rooms. I also went through my closet and weeded out furniture, wallpaper, carpet, and other items that I really don't need to be hoarding. Some of the wallpaper was stuff I can easily re-order, and patterns I'm not even that crazy about. Why do we feel the need to keep everything? I should go through my Museum rooms and prune them, as well.
Finally, and this is from this morning, Beth requested a picture of my Police Station after it was built. Here you go:

Several trees grow in front of it, although I blanked out a couple, so you can actually see the station. But I love the pink trees (I actually *squee'd* when I came out of my house this morning and saw them), so I had to keep a couple in. It sits right on the bend of the river, and on the other side of the roses lies the Plaza. The Roost is over to the left.
Oh, yes. I also changed up my hair. It's up in a bun, now, but I love the side-swept bangs.
Now I'm off to stop Blanca from pranking all my villagers. Have a good one, and don't fall for any April Fool's Day jokes!
