I did a bit of googling but all of the dresses typical of the 1800's are so long that you do not see even the womans feet. Typically this is what defines it as an 1800's dress and the dresses in New Leaf cannot be that long :/ For that reason it was quite hard to do but I've stuck with it and tried to make the design as intricate as possible. Sorry if it's not what you were after but it took me a while to create. Here it is:

I am seeking someone who has a Forest or Woodsy type path or can create me one... Can be made of many parts. I'm hoping to find one that has the very edges of the path in green-ish while the path itself is dirt-like. I'm creating an area of it being like a Forbidden Forest so it needs to look like it's dark-ish. This isn't required though. I'll use one that looks nice, too.
I am also looking for other paths for the Forbidden Forest. Can include thorny bushes or just dark-like grass covered in different various flowers/leaves/etc.

I designed the dress to work with the colours so in my personal opinion it doesn't work so well when changed but I've done it
Not so sure it looks as good in these tones but this is the closest I can get to cream without it beginning to blur together:
