and i've also had a theme ready for a nub mafia for 9 players for a while but i'm not feeling up to hosting 2 games at once

Well yeah - people aren't joining because they don't click the subforum. That's the problem.

can't we just ask for permition to make a thread in the basement, not a game but an infomation thing for new players

Its not like it stays up though - it gets buried quickly. A game would keep popping up at the top, which would help new players get intriuged since its at the top so much and at the same time it helps them learn by example

I mean sure we could ask permission from Justin to run a few SS3's with simplified explanations, because I feel like people get overwhelmed by the massive walls of text that are the rules.

Not a SS3 - those are too quick and its hard to get a feel for the game with only 1 day. I was thinking perhaps a 7 player game or something like that would be better.

And yeah - we'd have to get permission from Justin, but I thought running the idea here first would be smart

He can apply but Nub games have traditionally just kinda ignored the queue unless they needed more time to prep/plan. The idea behind them is that newblood is playing while old blood watches or coaches.
