You can go to your locker as many times as you need to in order to empty it.

I'm counting "multiple trips" as the number of times a person goes back to their town to refill their locker.

When ever my internet is lagging I usually disconnect everything that I don't need to the internet. Like my phone or my laptop, or my ps3.
