Cherry Blossom time is one of my favorite times of the year in AC. Running around Salem last night, Kitt summed it up:

What a perfect way to put it!

I also realized that both towns have cherries as their native fruit. For some reason, I thought Salem had apples. Maybe because just about every other town I've had over the years has had apples. I sent Emerald over with some perfect cherries to plant, then. Now I don't have to play the waiting game for a tree to spawn one.

Phineas gave Emerald two new badges - bronze for both letter writing and StreetPass. That just about catches both mayors up even on badges.

Two new PWPs were completed - one in each town. Salem now has a Dream Suite (which probably won't get much use, as I don't have a nearby connection, but if I do get to where I can upload a dream town, I'll let you know), and Hollowyn got a windmill. Katrina was in Hollowyn yesterday, and as Emerald was leaving, she said that the requirements had been fulfilled, and requested the PWP for a permanent spot on Main Street. Now if I can catch Isabelle sleeping, I can finish that off, as well. I hate having closed up areas.

I caught an argument between Purrl and Anabelle; Purrl was telling Anabelle that her conditioner was a scam and that Anabelle's "sparkle" was really just sparkly dandruff. I know she's a snooty, but I don't usually see her being truly mean.

Later, she pinged me, all rattled and shaken:

Hmm... maybe Anabelle was exacting revenge?

Speaking of my little anteater, I plucked a flea off of her. I haven't heard much on the Antonibelle front, it seems she's still concerned as to what he thinks of her:

Maybe they're just trying to keep the relationship quiet.

Congarts on the new badges! Two I actually do not have yet, myself. x) I need to get in a better habit of writing letters. And congrats on opening Katrina's shop; I don't have her yet, either. I don't care for fortune telling so for the longest time I never patronized her. Now I'm trying to, just so I can get her shop and be done with it. Also, the dream suite is totally awesome. When it was first suggested to me I didn't fund it for the longest time because I thought it sounded dumb, haha. And that was awfully mean of Purrl. :( If I'd known about that sooner, I'd have given her the wrong coffee on purpose today.

Sorry for the late reply - I was off yesterday and didn't turn on a computer. :)

I have a hard time with the letter-writing badges, too. I think what pushed me over was that I saved 10 pieces of candy from Easter and sent one to each of my villagers. I wrote the exact same thing on each letter, but they liked it. I got back letters from every one of them (my poor mailbox was doing it's "Open me NOW!!" dance), which is always nice.

Katrina's been in Salem for a while, although I never go in. I probably won't use the shop often in Hollowyn, once I get it built, but it's nice to have the spot occupied. Just waiting to catch Isabelle sleeping in Hollowyn so I get the Dream Suite there.

Purrl is often bossy, and, well... snooty, but I haven't seen her be truly mean. Still, Anabelle was able to shrug it off fairly quickly. If Purrl had been speaking that way to Pekoe or Lolly, I'd have really been angry.
