*Apologies for how strangely the first few days are formatted, with multiple posts covering the same day(s) (I did not plan very thoughtfully!). From post #12 onward, posts will be comprehensive, including text AND photos. Thank you for your understanding!

*Trying to think of a less-convoluted way to address villagers rules

Current villagers are Dom, Reneigh, Cranston, Bluebear, Aurora, Chops, Octavian, Portia, Bob and Ricky
Amenities include upgraded Museum, Nook's Cranny, Resident Services, Campsite and Able Sisters

Ai is easygoing and kind-hearted (although she has been known to hold a grudge or two). She has golden skin, yellow hair, and large green eyes. She doesn’t take much seriously, but she works hard as Pokoko’s Island Representative.

Her favorite activities are arm-wrestling Dom, collecting seashells, and taking afternoon naps. She loves new clothes and iced royal milk tea. Her nickname is ‘Egg’.

1/1/2021​

Pokoko was established on 1/1/2021! Ai will be the Island Representative, and the first villagers on the island are Dom and Reneigh. Ai was able to earn enough Nook Miles to pay-off her tent and she will have a proper house tomorrow. She was also able to catch 5 creatures to give to Tom Nook to aid his curator friend Blathers. Blathers will touch down on Pokoko tomorrow as well. It was an exciting and exhausting first day.

1/2 - 1/3/2021​

Ai has now been on Pokoko for 3 days. She is slowly exploring all the corners of the island. She is also beginning to get to know her neighbors better. With their help, she was able to gather enough materials to help build the foundation for a new store and it opened today! She encountered a talkative hedgehog chatting with Timmy and Tommy, although the hedgehog did not introduce herself. After checking out the new store, Ai spent the day exploring the cliffs of the island and catching fish and insects for the new museum. She was also able to pay-off her first home loan, and she will have a larger house tomorrow. Being the Island Rep. has been far more physically demanding than she anticipated. She goes to sleep at night feeling tired, but fulfilled.

1/3 - 1/4/2021​

Ai had a bout of insomnia last night, so she decided to do a bit of late-night exploring. She was lucky enough to catch a small meteor shower! She made several wishes, including prosperity and happiness for Pokoko and its residents. She also encountered this strange ghost-like creature who gave her an outdoor air conditioner. This morning, she was elated to find tiny star fragments along the beach!

1/4 - 1/5/2021​

Things have slowed down a bit since the new villager homes were constructed. Yesterday, Cranston moved into his home and today Bluebear moved into hers (I think she and Ai will be the best of friends!). It snowed for a bit in the afternoon, and Ai tried her hardest to find a coelacanth, but she only managed to catch a million sea bass.

With Aurora moving-in today, all of the new homes on the island now have owners! Making the rounds, Ai stumbled mid-conversation into Reneigh's recipe "idea" (pls no), and chanced to meet the talkative hedgehog who had been at Nook's Cranny the first day. Her name is Mabel and she sells clothing and accessories (Ai's favorite!). Ai made sure to buy all the cute things. The Resident Services Tent will undergo a remodel tomorrow (so exciting!) and thus will be closed. She ended the day by working on making her home a bit cozier (cardboard boxes are legitimate pieces of furniture for a fledgling home btw).

1/7/2021​

A strange ship appeared on the northern shore of the island today (polluting the air too >:| ), and a mysterious (but very cute) fox accosted Ai to sell her a painting. Blathers took the painting as a donation for the museum, so it worked out, I guess! Otherwise, it was a leisurely day on the island. Ai made her daily rounds, and crafted a bunch of fish bait. She found Dom admiring her newest catch, a sturgeon. Ai relocated all of the flowers on the upper cliffs down to the beach, and soon Cranston was admiring the lovely blooms. Tomorrow the remodeled Resident Services will be open and Ai can pay-off her current home loan (she needs the storage tbh).

1/8/2021​

It's been one week since Ai landed on Pokoko! Resident Services is now a building, and Tom Nook had more work for Ai, including building a campsite to attract new villagers. A friendly dog named Isabelle will now help out at Resident Services as well (look at her adorable sweater). Dom took advantage of the huge new plaza the building sits on for some exercise. During her rounds, Ai visited Cranston at home, where he taught her how to make medium cardboard boxes (he has the cutest little home). Lastly, she bought a lovely pink balloon at Nook's Cranny and ran around joyfully with it.

1/9 - 1/11/2021​

Just a few shots from the last couple of days on Pokoko! There was another small meteor shower, but Ai was far too tired to stay up and wish on all of the shooting stars... Ai and the villagers participated in the Fishing Tourney, and now Pokoko has a few more beach-side decorations (Ai won Bronze, but who won Silver and Gold?). It had been a few days since Ai was able to roll together a snowboy successfully, so she was overjoyed to have made one perfectly. She took some time to chat with her favorite blue bear, Bluebear (although she had to exercise while doing it, boo). Pokoko is now home to a campsite, and the first visitor to it was Chops. He will be the 6th villager to move to the island. Ai is also in in charge of purchasing additional plots for several more villagers (how did this happen?). She'll have to spend some time rearranging trees and whatnot before that can happen (sorry, Ai). And all this time running around in the sun seemed to have lightened Ai's hair! :0

1/12 - 1/14/2021​

It's been a few busy days on Pokoko for Ai! But, she made sure to take a break and enjoy the beautiful aurora sky, and write in her journal. Octavian and Portia are the 7th and 8th villagers to join the community, and Bob will move-in tomorrow. She helped Dom with some medicine as he was sick :< Yesterday, she spent a good portion of the day rearranging all of the trees on the island (she likes lines and order, ok). She's added a few decorations and utilities around the island as well. Now Pokoko is really starting to look like it's inhabited! Even a few hybrid flowers have bloomed! It's been almost two full weeks since Ai has moved to the island, and so much has happened already. She is looking forward to what the future holds!

1/15 - 1/17/2021​

Pokoko finally has a full house (so-to-speak), with ten villagers! Bob was the 9th and Ricky rounds it out as the 10th. Ai has quickly discovered that Ricky is her spirit animal (back problems, man). There was another small star shower, and Ai is very sad she pressed the wrong button on an absolutely adorable photo of her with Bluebear. She also attempted to design a new flag for Pokoko but it's quite terribly drawn, so it has since been replaced ;-; (rip sleepy Kirby). Ai now has a back room and a left room on her house (it's lopsided), and Mabel will open her clothing shop tomorrow (OMG)! She spent most of Sunday planting flowers and trees, although sadly Pokoko still only has a 2-star rating. Hopefully, once the flowers bloom the island will be ready for K.K.!

1/18/2021​

Last night Ai was able to meet the sweetest owl ever, Celeste! Shooting stars have fallen a few nights in Pokoko but Celeste had yet to appear. This morning Able Sisters opened (the funniest picture, those poppers must be hard to pop lol), and FINALLY Pokoko has achieved a 3-star rating! Ai had to plant like, 60 more flowers this morning ;A; K.K. Slider will make an appearance tomorrow! :0 Ai also got a new phone, isn't the color cute?

1/19 - 1/23/2021​

*Apologies, this one will be photo-heavy, as it is covering several days ;-;

A lot has happened on Pokoko over the past several days! K.K. Slider finally came to visit, and it was everything we had hoped for! Ai was also given the enormous responsibility of terraforming the island (if she saw fit to do so) :0 She doesn't like things to be hidden behind cliffs, so she took down all of the cliffs on the northern border, and proceeded to create a small hill in the center of the island. She made sure to take some time to rest, all of that digging and building is exhausting! Bob helped everyone relax by serenading us in the plaza. Not everyone is happy about all of the "development", but I'm sure Ricky will come around!

It snowed and the villagers were ready with their snow gear. Ai can't figure out if she likes Chops yet. He dresses like a hipster and sent a gift to Ai and referred to it as 'spicy' :-| Anyway! Ai's house is also coming along nicely. She's been spending her bells on moving buildings around the island, so her house is still lopsided. But, there's plenty of time to continue remodeling in the future! Pokoko also had its second campsite visitor (Chops being the 1st). Biff did not come to play, he's super serious about his card games, but Ai managed to win one round and received a sweet Bulldog Jacket as a reward.

Lastly, Ai's brother, Ao, moved to Pokoko! He is still really jet-lagged, so he's been sleeping since he arrived. A little map update (as of 1/23) at the end c:
