Opinion on new villagers

So i know we have seen new villagers, but do you think we will be getting more? Also do you think we will be getting new animals as well

I think it's possible that there could be a couple more new villagers but I don't think there will be new animal types. When they released the hamster villagers they made a big deal about it in the directs and since we haven't seen anything about that yet it makes me doubtful we will.

There definitely may be more new villagers, since they want to keep some things secret.

With the ease of pushing updates out for Switch software, can't see why Nintendo couldn't add in more villagers in future updates.

I like the ones we have seen. The purple bear might seem plain but some people like simpler villagers!

i remember a while back people said that japanese twitter said that there were like 50 new villagers or something. or they gave out the total number of villagers and compared to new leaf there's 50 more. all i know is that there's most likely multiple new villagers.

none of them have really piqued my interest..... so i may not try to get any of them, but if they show up in town then that would be dope

Definitely, but maybe not as many as in New Leaf; 30-50 new villagers

I think there will be a lot of new villagers that we haven't seen yet! There's no reason for them to show each one off right away before release. I don't think we will get new species of animals though, sadly.

I like the idea of new villagers coming with updates. They should have retro updates if so, where they bring back e+ villagers.

i like the wolf and big purple bear but i'm not really bothered about having them in my town. i really hope there's other new villagers though!

there?s definitely a possibility of there being more new villagers but i doubt we?ll get as many as we did for new leaf.

I'm not a huge fan of some of the villagers that were announced but they're all so cute! I hope there's more!

from wild world to city folk they brought a few back from GC and we got like 18 completly new villagers? From City folk to new leaf they gave us 100 villagers, a few comeback villagers included. But we got there new personalities and 2 new species aswell. So I think we don’t get as many as before. Let it be 2-3 new per personality, we would have 16-24 new villagers. So I think this is realistic. Everything whats above that is welcoming

I really like the cat with heterochromia mainly because one of my cats also has it.
Other than him, I'm not all that interested in any of the the new villagers.
I hope they release some more in future updates.

I think there will a couple of more new villagers - maybe even a new species in New Horizons. Nintendo almost always leaves in a few surprises, they don't reveal all the details of what you'll find in the game - only enough to hype consumers into buying the game they want to sell. My favorite new villager, so far, is the grey cat with heterochromia iridis. I don't mind if there aren't that many new villagers, since I already have a vast list of favorites, but it'd be a nice treat if more are revealed.
