Just want to make sure that this works before I make a request! I reset my island and have the first three plots just built. Two of them said sold and one of them is still blank. Does this mean it's still available? Don't want to waste your efforts! ^_^

Yep! No worries. If it's blank and says "Open plot" when you interact with it, that means it's still available. It should take about 30-35 mins. I have Dobie's Welcome Amiibo.

I wanted to make sure the plot was truly available and it looks like I have to wait until a few more in-game days are done before I am able to choose characters for future plots! Sorry about that! No worries. I'm a little unfamiliar with how it works myself. I know you can't use Amiibo in the beginning of the game, but as for getting villagers from other people's islands though, I don't know if that works or not, so you could give it a shot if you want. I'll open up the gate for you once Dobie's ready and you could come test it out.

Yeah, Raymond definitely needs time because he's part of Amiibo Series 5, which hasn't been released. And earlier today, I had a bad experience fulfilling a request for a non-Amiibo villager (see above with Sir Takoya).

So please, if we're gonna do this, please don't retract your request just as I move one of my villagers out and get an open plot on my island. If you want to change your mind, please inform me beforehand ASAP. Getting an open plot on my island takes time too, but it shouldn't be more than an hour (probably even less than that). I'd also need to put forth a request from a treasure island I have access to (which takes much longer depending on how fast the treasure island admin responds), so please be patient.

Hi Amilee, I don't have a slot opened on my island anymore, but I can open up another one in an hour or so. Please indicate your desired villager. If they have an Amiibo card, it should take a shorter time to summon them.
