This is it. The show's over, i-it's unbearable, the short 5 days that this show aired and I feel in love with it. The beautiful script, structure, and literally everything about the short lived adventures of Greg and Writ (of course I must mention Beatrice). Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to be one of those people who rank everything perfect. Even if I was, I would not care, this show deserves every single amount of praise I give it.

Story
Over the garden wall's story is simply crafted, that's what gives it it's rustic charm. Two brothers, Writ and Greg, travel to find their home. Sadly they are said to be in "the unknown" and have lost their way. Along the way they meet various characters, each uniquely created. Yet they meet a blue bird Beatrice who offers to help the two lost brothers as they try to escape from the unknown...

Music
Ok, the music created for this short series was perfect, never in my life have I ever heard such beautiful music. It fits incredibly well whenever music is used during the story. Here's a sample of the opening sequence

, if that's not beautiful then I don't know what is. The classic music used is choice for this fantasy like series. Even if you hate the series (which would be highly unlikely) you will almost always fall for the music.

Creative Overlook
This whole entire series is original. Writ and Greg are the first characters I really understood, they felt real, they went through so much pressure and handled it like actual humans. Then it reminds you, Writ and Greg aren't special, they are human, they get scared, angry, sad, happy, and depressed. All emotions we feel, they don't have anything special, they are normal people and they handled their problems like they should. This is the first time I ever felt like someone put actual effort into making the viewer relate to their character.

Overview
When this show ended meer hours ago, tears flowed down my face. I was petrified that it actually ended, such a beautifully crafted show was ending. It made me cry tiers of joy and sadness. Although the series ended, it was finshed in such a unique fashion that I can't help but smile. If this show was ever to return I would instantly watch it.

Rating:10/10

Yes!! I've watched the entire series twice. I almost cried at the end. It was so good and the final chapter gave me a mixture of feelings. I don't know whether to be happy (because it ended perfectly) or sad (because its over and I can no longer look forward to new episodes). D:

I completely agree with you and MeghanNewLeaf. When it first came onto commercials, I thought, "Oh, this looks kind of dumb, but then it also looks interesting." I don't know how, but it brought back memories of watching shows like this when I was younger. I didn't watch it the first day until an artist I like started posting stuff about how good it was. The next day I watched it and I fell in love!! :D I just looked up the ending today, and tears came to my eyes (and let me tell you, that doesn't happen very often for me and TV shows). I absolutely loved it and I wish there were more! There's been a rumor going around that it might become a full TV show in 2015, but I'm not for sure on it...it's just a really amazing show. I'm amazed at how anyone could come up with something so great! :D
