Overrated Anime

I started to watch some anime recently and also searched in that time for a few new ones I didn't watch
yet. While searching, I found a topic on twitter, where someone complained how overrated certain anime
are. So I got curious and would like to know: Which anime would you call overrated and why.

One anime I kinda find overrated is Naruto. I knew a few people from my old school back then who
loved Naruto and while I tried to watch this anime and also tried to like it, I was never able to get
into it. I don't know, it just doesn't appeal to me that much and I also find the characters kinda
lame.

I definitely find Naruto overrated, even though it's one of my favorite animes. The only reason why I stuck it out and watched it all the way through was because I had started watching it at a young age and probably wouldn't have forgiven myself if I didn't finish it. It has tons of great moments, but there's also an unreasonable amount of lame filler episodes. I also think One Piece is SUPER overrated and pretty lame as well. Could never get into it at all. Super long, and it just seemed like such an immature show. *shrug*
