P.E: Like It or...

I NEVER liked P.E.! I was(and am not) a sports person!

oH DEAR P.E. WAS HORRIBLE

in my opinion it shouldn't be mandatory past elementary school, but unfortunately where i live it is

thirty sweaty teenagers together in gym shorts and baggy t-shirts in the same gym area during the middle of the school day is just a bad idea ... it wasn't a good time for anyone xD

yeah ikr, idek why they force it in high school unless you are taking special sports classes or stuff :| l"oh no everyone is getting fat gotta go fast" or something. ugh also yes a lot of teachers are terrible.

I used to like PE, when we didn't have to run everyday and we did fun games instead of actual sports...
Not only am I terrible at spots and dislike running but I have to be able to run to art after gym, which is all the way across the school, and I very rarely make it on time unless we don't have to run laps that day.

It's funny how at school I hated it because of the teachers but now I really enjoy exercising and the gym. Well, as much as I can do now, which unfortunately isn't the amount I'm used to doing. I would have enjoyed it at school most likely had I have been lucky enough to have a decent teacher. I was very good at basketball, until I had an accident while playing and that had a continued negative effect. Was always more wary after that so I never enjoyed playing as much or put as much effort into it. Funnily enough, it was a different teacher for basketball and netball. Good teachers make the world of difference

I haven't had P.E in 12 years, but I HATED EVERY MOMENT OF IT!!! It was the WORST! I am terribly uncoordinated and un-athletic, so it was pure torture for me. :C

NOPE. I hate it. We have P.E. tomorrow.
Last week, we were gonna stretch before we actually started the class, and... dear god.

Lets just say, I couldn't walk straight, bow down or sit down for the next three days.

My school's form of PE is sex ed. They call it PE and health. It's basically a PE class mixed in with sex ED and how to protect yourself from robbers, creepy stalkers, sex offenders, etc and how to prevent yourself from getting STDs. If I had regular PE, I don't think that I would mind it. I am on my school's track and field team.

Why not? You get to move around after being locked up in a classroom all day

I dislike sports for the most parts, but I never mind PE. The running sucked, but we usually just had to learn techniques for different sport games and just played them and other made up games. And we had a seperate year for swimming which was always chill. Literally.

I never liked that class. They expected too much out of people who weren't in sports. There was this test where you had to dash back and forth across the gym before the beep went off. The beep kept getting faster and faster so it got harder the longer you did it. It was impossible to get an A. I think you needed 100 something laps. I got pretty far for a guy who didn't exercise much.

THE FITNESS GRAM PACER TEST... *shudders* I remember the best I've been on it was at 30, and that's the bare minimum you can get to "pass" the pacer test at my school.

I don't really like P.E. at my school. The push-ups, sit-ups, lunges, you name it are tough and the people there really stink (like with a smell, the people aren't actually bad). I like I get to talk with my friends in the locker room and when we're playing games, though.

P.S. why does this one person in my P.E. class always cough on me or right next to me seriously dude i think you're doing it on purpose by now...

Hated it! Hated running, everyone threw dodgeballs at me and I got locked in the equipment room for 3 hours.. With 2 other friends.
So we decided to take advantage and actually thrashed the place, there was equipment everywhere and we got in no trouble since my 4th grade teacher was awesome ^.^

Yeah just running whether inside or outside were the worst, especially for their "tests" they had. I mean sure I don't mind play dodgeball, obstacle courses or whatever but tbh too many "group activities" where you had to play with the wall anyways :/

I really didn't like gym because I have a genetic problem that makes my joints fall out of socket. And most people don't believe you about it!!! which stinks

Pull up bar? Nope. Can't put more than 40 lbs of weight on my arms...
Weight room? Nope. Students would laugh as I tried to lug the 40lb weights off and struggled to lift 15-25 pounds on the machines...
Any game where we were picking teams? Nope. Last one picked. I was not really good credit to my team..

The only gym games I enjoyed were dodgeball (I'm good at dodging, not the throwing part), and this exercise where we'd jump up on a box and jump down. Oh, and jumprope. Jumping is fun

Luckily I haven't had to take gym in 8 years... I took a few phys ed classes in college but they were very much self-motivated and all my professors understood when I told them "If you make me do pushups, my arms are going to come out of socket". Also fencing and historical dancing were 500 times more fun than flag football and pull-up tests

the cool part is when you're done with highschool you can pursue any kind of workout u want... so if you wanna dance like a fool to some music, there's a class for that, and since you know your own limits better than anyone else, u become self disciplined and u know when to stop

I usually had friends in my gym classes, thankfully, so in that respect it was pretty fun.
The actual exercising part? Lol no thanks. I hated running, hated the games even more (esp kickball & softball). Absolute worst week was the swimming unit. That was literal hell.
I lucked out because my school recently switched to only requiring half a credit of gym, so I've been finished with gym forever since January
