P.E: Like It or...

HATE IT WITH EVERY FIBER OF MY BEING. Today we had to run a mile. I can't run 100 feet. Heck, I can't do a pushup. I have a head ache. Hell is eternal P.E. in my opinion.
My life.

I also hate team sports and they wont stop convincing me to join the foot ball team but I hate football just leave me alone

i don't have PE atm which is great ... but i'll have it from after halloween until the end of the next term in june ): then i wont have to take any other gym classes unless i choose to (which i wont lmao)

i really dislike PE. i liked it when i was younger, because i like sports and i rly liked some of the things we were doing in gym class then!!! but my anxiety has always messed me up n for the most part gym class has only been a giant stress factor for me. i don't dislike the sports part about PE, what i hate is the rest. (so, uh, the social part, the changing rooms, the having other people look at u part, etc.)

i remember when i first started having PE in school when i was 6 yrs old my mother had to come with me and be in the changing rooms with me, otherwise i would refuse to participate ... yeah. she stopped coming with me after a few months, but yeah, nah the anxiety and everything about changing rooms makes me want to die lol.

i've never had pe while going to this school (i started a new school in august) so i dont rly know what it is like here. what im most anxious about is the changing room situation tbh. maybe i'll jsut change in a bathroom n just do enough to pass the class n then i'll have survived this Hell.

ugh yeah i hated the showers too like.. they were really gross and smelled so i don't really think anyone cared to shower at school. luckily we either had really early or really late pe so it worked still but ya lol;;

tbh no one showered in my school either, at least not after we passed 5th grade lol.... it was kind of gross, but the showers were really bad and gross. we seriously had 4 showers in the same room, nothing that was parting them or anything. we didnt even have a shower curtain..... and our changing room had a button that opened the door that people would press when walkign past lol... so no one showered.

yeah idek if we had that modern but yeah they were smelly and gross and at least the higher grades and high school no one used them afaik unless they really had to..

and yeah they were very open at least and yeah some immature boys would probably try and enter if we didn't lock properly to the girls' room

I never liked that class. They expected too much out of people who weren't in sports. There was this test where you had to dash back and forth across the gym before the beep went off. The beep kept getting faster and faster so it got harder the longer you did it. It was impossible to get an A. I think you needed 100 something laps. I got pretty far for a guy who didn't exercise much.

Pretty much, it was practice any kind of sports in free time or don't get more than passing grade. We didn't have beep tests but surely other stupid endurance tests and stuff...

Oh god the pacer test. That was the worst, I remember people skipping school because they hated it so much. You had to do 100 laps?? Jeez that sounds like a bit much. Not even the most athletic kids could make that. I think the most I've gotten is like around 50

eh. sometimes it's fun. sometimes it's not. pe in high school is a joke, we only take it for one year anyways, i don't care too much.

lol nope

thank god p.e is an elective in 8th grade, im not taking it next year ha

lol srsly the most I've gotten is 21

I hated it. All of my P.E teachers acted like it was bootcamp. If we did one thing wrong, we got severe punishment. 7th grade was the worst year, and literally every single person in my class (50+ people) hated our teacher because of how mean he was.

Its so-so but I lean a little more towards disliking it. I hate being graded because I can't run a mile as fast as some other people and it was always so hot outside. I feel like having p.e is a waste of a class period for my senior year. I already met the requirements and I wish I got study hall instead.

I always liked PE for the most part except for 9th grade wrestling class, wasnt too thrilled about wrestling with dudes and i was kinda short and skinny that year too so i was in like the lightest weight class.

we played this game in middle school called Earth Ball, do they still have that? its where there was this gigantic ball about five feet high, and the class is divided into two teams, whichever team pushes the ball across the other team's goal line wins. when the big kids on one team that had failed a few grades got that thing rolling, the smaller kids would just get knocked flying like bowing pins, it was awesome.

my friend and i dropped out of this coveted elective (psychology) senior year to take extra p.e. instead (tennis), ha we had a great time. i did get a B one quarter though in basketball class because the ball slipped out of my hand during a timed layup drill, and unfortunately not only had someone left the gym door open under our hoop, but the door at the end of the hallway to the exit as well, so the ball rolled all the way out of the gymnasium during my turn and i failed the drill. that's probably what kept me out of Harvard...

I only liked P.E. if I could do what I want. Not necessarily slacking off, but if I wanna play tennis instead of basketball, I wanna do that...

Sometimes I did get the option, but not always.

I'm definitely not an athletic person, but I thought P.E. was super fun. My P.E. teachers were pretty chill and having your friends there with you in the same class really helps. I love competing against my friends in sports like badminton and flag football. Swimming was a blast, too! (I learned how to float, yay~ ; U; )

Yeah, I hated the mile (and running in general), and I'm definitely not the healthiest person, but a mile once a week isn't too bad and my teachers graded based on self improvement anyway. The bleachers were the worst though. You had to run up and down them and it was super hot and blinding because the metal reflected the sun. I was so worried about slipping on the steps too.

Oh yeah I also forgot to say that 2 years of P.E. is a graduation requirement at my school, which I think is kinda dumb tbh :l

I was generally a sporty person in high school but P.E. was so boring because I never had any friends in that class and everyone groups together for activities so I was just like.. alone most of the time lol. It's probably just me but I really loved the bleep test, which is probably everyone's least favourite thing ever. That ***** was insanity but it was so fun. I love running though.

I hated it soooo much, the worst part was the locker room, being a young boy really unsure about his sexuality it was so awkward for me I just hid in the shower stalls usually to change. I'm so glad I don't have to take it ever again.
