Hey Tiffany, I am definitely interested in purchasing your goods at the prices you have shown here :D, but I currently have already given my word that I would buy someone else's (LambdaDelta's) goods at the moment since I want to help them out with acquiring a Topegi Easter Egg so they are 1 step closer to completing their Easter egg collection. o/ Once I have some more sales in the future though, I will be glad to help both of you out when I am in a more responsible position to buy stuff (want to be considerate to my investors and fulfill my promise to them as well)! o/ How does this sound to you my very dear & sweet friend and would you be able to hold these collectibles until then? Look forward to hearing back from you soon! :D

No worries! I'll post a thread for these, and if you're still interested in the future if they're available just lmk c:

Thank you for being so understanding my very dear & sweet friend and sounds like a plan! :D I wish you the best of luck in selling and I will be glad to buy any of the leftovers when I am able to! :) I hope you have a great rest of the day and I will talk to you later! :D

The layaway thing, while I do like the idea, will have to have alot of rules for it to 1 work and 2 not take like a month (for smaller amount). Esp for the higher priced collectables.

If it's like 'hey I only need 20 tbt to pay that one collectable off, can you do a loan for me', that's reasonable, 20tbt is easy to get and shouldn't take too much time. They may not even have to pay up front, they can pay when they have all the tbt.
It's the pricer ones I feel should have some sort of up front cost, the max being half of the total cost, or if they can pay more than half up front, that's cool too. If they want a collectable of 1k tbt, they should probably pay 500 upfront, or as much as they can atm due to the remaining 500 not being as easy to get as 20. Ofcourse these ones will take alot more time to achieve due to forum activity and their activity in general, possibly their daily lives have been busy and hectic to where they can't go on alot.

Anyway, that's just my little ramble on the subject.

I think for higher prized collectible, there should be a temporary collateral. For example.

If I want a feather that goes for 2500..I could send some of my collectibles as collateral while paying off the loan. This is risky for the buyer but they have to understand that before they even do the layaway and they are commited to follow through. Will the collectibles be forfeited too? Well of course.

That way, there is assurance that there will be constant communication.

As for lower prized collectibles like 50 TBT or below, it could just be a time period thing. The only stipulation is if you miss a payment schedule, then the layaway will be cancelled (and percentage of it goes to the shop). This is every payment schedule.

It might be too demanding to manage but I can help keep track!

For lower prized.

this really feels like something that would force the staff to intervene and put a stop to, due to potentially getting out of hand

When I get back from my vacation, I’ll be looking into this idea of a layaway program more and plan on implementing it in the fairest & simplest manner that would still make sense! :) I will say though that the only “collateral” a buyer will need to worry about is the amount that will be deducted from the balance of the layaway account when a cancellation occurs to keep things simple because I would rather not keep track of random collectibles. ;) Thank you so much again for presenting this idea my friend and I’ll be announcing this service when is launched so stay tuned everyone! :D

true maybe not collectible but just bells.. i can see what Lambda is saying...bells can be earned all the time and you will not lose sleep over it but collectibles are harder to acquire (but then again, nothing to lose sleep over too lol).

Just all seems a bit unnecessary imo. If you don't mind reserving/"layawaying" a collectible just reserve it till the person can afford it. If not say no. Its nothing new.

Just seems like it's making the marketplace overly complicated and giving stuff fancy names for no reason imo.

I think you have a good point there Ben, I have done something like that in the past multiple times (like when Rianne was wanting me to hold on to a Pumkpin Cake for them)! :) After thinking about it more from a objective point of view seeing both sides of the coin, I am going to agree with you Ben and have decided that I won’t pursue such a program because I feel like & believe that it is not for the good of the TBT community as a whole and wouldn’t truly align with the mission statement of my shop. Even though it is a good idea from a business point of view, I don’t believe it is compatible with the TBT collectible market like the Timestamp Trading Fee that scrapped a week or 2 ago. I do however will say that I appreciate the confidence of anyone who is willing to publicly share an idea! :D Thank you so much for your input Ben, I really do appreciate it! :)

completely unrelated, but I've been trying to figure out for months now why this is the only thread on the site that when I click on the button to take me to the first new post, it takes me to the op

I've noticed the same lol!

My only guess is that I update the OP regularly to update stock information, update Store Credit accounts, and update random aspects of it as well. Due to that, I think the forum software automatically takes you to the OP if it is has been updated (I could be wrong about that though). o/

Hello again. :] I was wondering if I can timestamp swap my White Violet 03-08-2017 03:22 AM (Pacific Time) collectible for the White Violet 05-28-2018 05:05 PM collectible.

Hey, I'm baaa-aaaaack. This time I'm on the hunt for flowers.

May I purchase the yellow cosmo date of 5-7-2016
Yellow pansy 7-1-16
And the white pansy of the same date?

Also I'll use the coupon for a later purchase.
