Hello everyone, before today comes to an end where I live, I have a couple more announcements to make! To start off, I have another Classic Easter Egg in stock (timestamp can be found below) and I am also now marking them all down to 750 TBT each due to an amazing supplier of mine! Going on Trip, New Collectibles in Stock, and Investors have Voice in Operations!

Hello everyone, I have a few announcements to make today!

To start off, I wanted to announce that I will be going on a trip this weekend starting tomorrow evening to enjoy time with my girlfriend and her family so I won't be on as much over the weekend. Don't worry though, if anyone makes a order while I'm away, you will get what you order! There may be a delay, but don't worry!

Secondly, I wanted to announce that I have a couple new collectibles in stock today: Chocolate Cake and Peach! Their respective timestamps can be found below for anyone who is interested in these particular collectibles!

I am not a TBT investor but maybe you can start a layaway program wherein someone can reserve a collectible (but you don't have to send it right away until they are fully paid). You can just start charging a percentage fee maybe every two weeks that it is not fully paid.

then if somoene cancels their layaway, you can just charge a cancelling fee. (maybe 10% of what they put in so far).

Hey Bianca, thank you so much for the suggestion! It definitely is a good idea for sure since it would give people more flexibility in acquiring the collectibles, but I probably would have to put certain qualifications/rules in place to make it so someone can qualify for such an option to ensure that it works smoothly and for it to make sense from a business standpoint. I have been receiving a lot of suggestions with the recent feedback so I definitely will be thinking on yours for sure my friend to find the best way of going about it! I plan on starting the implementation of ideas when I get back from my trip this weekend! The layaway thing, while I do like the idea, will have to have alot of rules for it to 1 work and 2 not take like a month (for smaller amount). Esp for the higher priced collectables.

If it's like 'hey I only need 20 tbt to pay that one collectable off, can you do a loan for me', that's reasonable, 20tbt is easy to get and shouldn't take too much time. They may not even have to pay up front, they can pay when they have all the tbt.
It's the pricer ones I feel should have some sort of up front cost, the max being half of the total cost, or if they can pay more than half up front, that's cool too. If they want a collectable of 1k tbt, they should probably pay 500 upfront, or as much as they can atm due to the remaining 500 not being as easy to get as 20. Ofcourse these ones will take alot more time to achieve due to forum activity and their activity in general, possibly their daily lives have been busy and hectic to where they can't go on alot.

Anyway, that's just my little ramble on the subject.

Thank you for your input my friend on the layaway idea! For it to work, rules definitely would need to be in place in order for it to run smoothly and maintain accountability of the buyer (since a layaway is a loan-like commitment in my eyes). An example of this is that I would require the buyer to put a percentage down (still thinking through the actual percentage because I want it to be reasonable and fair) so that the buyer is committed to the layaway. Additionally, I would introduce a penalty for cancellation (which would be a percentage of the amount put down) to compensate for the cost of time and the possibility of the collectible being sold during the layaway period. When it comes to time limit, I would probably give the buyer 2 months to fulfill their layaway to retain fairness in the process and to ensure the buyer has time to do something in their power to collect the TBT necessary (just in case if the economy is slow for a month or something)! If a buyer is unable to complete the layaway in that time period, the layaway would automatically be cancelled and the user would get TBT returned to them that is the remaining balance after the cancellation fee is accounted for.

I think the biggest thing I want to pursue through the start of such a program is to make sure it is as fair as possible for both parties (me & the buyer). o/ I also want this program to be reflective of my recently-created mission statement for PARADISE Collectibles (which can now be found on the main post near the top so anyone can know what my shop is truly about) since customer service and happiness are the most important things to me:

Our mission at PARADISE Collectibles is to provide the friendliest and most accessible services possible on the TBT Market while making people's days & collectible dreams a reality at the same time! Profit is only a bonus and reward of our operations, not the top priority even though it is a absolute necessity for stability and growth. Customer service and happiness is the top priority of our operations and will always be that way in the future for the better good of the TBT community as a whole.
