Personal Preference Kit (Crews 1 & 2)

Hi! I'm Azzy, I'm happy to be a member of Crew 2, known as Actually, Nevermind!
Because that's probably what I'll be saying when I stop being excited about space and realize I'm expected to be a functioning member of our crew and socialize. =33

With me I've brought my Introvert Survival Kit!
With a camera substituted based on the fact that we're in space and I'm a nerd. I need pictures.

I'm sporting a cute galaxy themed outfit that consists of both shorts and leggings underneath so I can remove the leggings depending on the temperature in our quarters. I may or may not have fallen on the way down one of the halls. I don't mind the bandages though, I'm kinda used to wearing them by now. Every time I think I'm healed enough to remove them, I fall on my face again. The fact that I wear glasses like I'm supposed to doesn't fix this issue.

Now, onto my Introvert Survival Kit! This package includes:​

• 1 Tablet- For doodling purposes and attempts to see if we can get wifi in space. It also doubles as my music to go along with...​
• 1 Headset- Both for music, gaming, and for ignoring my crewmates when it gets too loud. Must be comfy and not hurt my ears. ​
• 1 Nintendo Switch- Because I'm not stopping my Pokémon breeding and hunting just because I'm in space. The shop isn't gonna stock itself. ​
• 1 Stuffed Bunny- Not only a comfort object, but company when my insomnia flares up.​
• 1 Digital Camera- I'm in SPACE. I'm at CAMP. I'm taking pictures, there is no debate.

Hi, I have a couple questions about the 5 items.

1) Would it be acceptable to use the selfie reaction and count my nook phone as one of my items?

2) Can I bring item x that looks like item y, and say for the purposes of this event this is item y (uh, as an unrelated example, I want to bring a skipping rope but don't have one, can I bring kite string and call it a skipping rope)?

I am trying to find an alternate to not having a certain type of item I would really want to bring and I don't have any of the items that would fit in my catalogue (or NSO to trade for them). ;u;

Starts reading my Get Ready for Space Camp Itinerary. 5 items, other than clothes??? That’s ALL we can bring??? OIY!!!



Well, I can’t leave my fav gyroid, Bubbles home. He’s DYING to blow bubbles into space. I really can’t sleep anywhere without my fan so it’s gotta come too. I remember last time I went to camp, there was a cabin that wasn’t given any toilet paper, so I definitely definitely have to bring that! I know, I’ll want to document EVERYTHING we do and make a scrapbook so I’ll def bring that and last but not least, I should grab my switch so we can all play mariokart together on our down time.

(Hopefully some of my other crewmembers will bring their switches as well).



It says on here that we can wear whatever we want when we come in & that we will be given uniforms later, and to just pack PJs and underthings. I want to make a really good first impression so this is the outfit I chose.

for my space trip, i packed only the essentials with me.
first i'd be bringing the comfiest pillow with me so that i can still rest up while i'm far, far from home. then for entertainment purposes i would bring alone my switch so that i can play all the games i said i would play, a book for when the switch dies, and a music player with me because who wants to be alone with their thoughts. and lastly, i would bring some food with me! coincidentally i actually made some carrot cake so i'll pack me some slices before we head out!​

for my outfit, i decided to go with warmth and comfort. in case it's chilly, a nice thick jumper will keep me warm. you can also never go wrong with some mom jeans, they are quite comfortable. also some thick, wool socks to keep my feet warm paired with a pair of high top shoes. and of course, the trusty backpack where i can store all my personal belongings if needed.

The most important meal of the day

So this wouldn't really be what I would bring with me if I were traveling somewhere, but this is something that I enjoy doing whenever I do go away and especially with a trip like camping. Breakfast food on an open fire is the best.

So with that, I have 5 items that would make making breakfast among other meals fun and manageable wherever we are traveling. Whether it's on a safe or hostile planet.

I have 5 items for just that.
1- Campfire stove (To fry/cook up all the veggies, hashbrowns, bacon, and pancakes)
2-Frying pan with sauteed veggies (to give breakfast that earthy-zing taste)
3-Cooking set (To mix the pancake batter)
4- Pancakes (Cause pancakes are the bomb)
5- Folding table (To make preparing easy. And eating. Dang it Jim, I'm a cook not a puzzle genius!)

The Galaxolotls are eating good with me around. What are you talking about we should be looking for Gulliver? We haven't had our second breakfast yet!

I used the military jacket and santa's pants since they both looked close enough in color and looked like they matched. The space helmet, the boots, and jetpack are all tied together to make a more flashy space suit. Or so I liked the looks of it.

i decided to bring my main comforts from home! my switch lite to keep me entertained, some of my favorite carrot cake in case space food is as unappetizing as it sounds, a painting set for when inspiration strikes -- and i'm sure it will, there's a lot of beauty to be found in the stars! -- and my laptop, so i can keep up with the news back on earth. ... i just hope the connection on this space station is good. oh, and how could i forget my matching blue travel companion, flopsy! he'd never forgive me if i left home without him. now, which way's my cabin? we're ready to take a nap; i boarded in my pyjamas so we could hop right into bed!

We’re still traveling to our destination, so this is my trapped-in-a-spaceship-cabin-for-weeks survival kit. My explorer clothes are still packed!

I’m wearing my galaxy hoodie like a lot of other crew members—nothing I love more than a good matching team outfit, and it’s space camp; how could I resist? I’m wearing shorts because I nearly always wear shorts, socks that don’t go past mid-ankle (hello sensory issues!) and purple shoes to match my hoodie. I also brought a hat from home to remind me of Anthology while I’m gone.

For personal possessions, I packed a corkboard full of encouraging notes from all my neighbors back home (“Don’t let your muscles atrophy in zero-G!” - Antonio), a guitar so I have a peaceful and private skill to keep my focus during the long journey, my pet anglerfish because she has separation anxiety and wants to meet her alien cousins, a stack of books for relaxation, and a stuffed dog to provide a little comfort. I’m more than ready for whatever comes next.

Here is my entry! I absolutely LOVE the entire aesthetic and idea of space camp! Its super cute and fun! I decided to bring some of my favorite furniture items in New Horizons with me!

Green Nova Light - I bring this large lamp with me to brighten up my living space and add a starry touch!
Cherry Speakers - The cutest speakers in the game so that I can listen to all my Fifth Harmony music!
Painting Set - A fun way to spend time when I'm not marveling at the beautiful stars! 🖌
Kerokerokeroppi Doll - I always bring a touch of Sanrio with me everywhere (even in real life with all my keychains and bracelets!) ! I bet Teru Teru would love to adventure with me!
Dreamy Unicorn Toy - Everyone needs a fantastic little friendo to bring a smile to their face!

Now onto my super fantabulous slaying outfit! I first started by wearing the big-star tee! This item was one of my favorites in New Leaf and I always found it to be super cute! I combined many other "star" items such as the star bopper, star pochette and a few blues and purples to create a chic galaxy look!

Here is my entry! I packed:
-Portable record player, because music is a must!
-Picnic basket, but no ordinary basket! This picnic basket is a highly technical food simulator that can produce any food for which it has the recipe!
-Sewing box, so that I can work on my UFOs (UnFinished Objects, I have many)
-My tablet, of course, so I can access the dodo intergalactic interwebs.
-Inflatable bed! Yes, it's inflatable, super comfy, and when deflated can fit right in the pocket....

...of my noble zap suit!

Yes, the noble zap suit, just one small part of this amazing outfit that is just perfect for space travel. The entire outfit includes:
-Noble zap suit, self cleaning and able to regulate body temperatures even in the coldest of space.
-Bubblegum! No more ear-popping on take-off!
-Tiara, solid gold, of course, in case I get stranded and need something of value to trade.
-Space shades, to protect my eyes from any flares...
-Zap boots that can keep me anchored to the ground (wall, ceiling..) even in zero gravity conditions!
-And finally, neon tights, because they're pretty and match my shades.

For my journey into space I made sure to wear the comfiest outfit I own. The bear on my shirt helps me feel safe and protected at all times. As for my items, I wanted to mainly bring things that would help pass the time by. I’ve got my favorite book on bugs and other little creatures to read about. You can never learn too much about nature! I had to bring a lantern to help light up the areas near me. I’m also a very big fan of music so I brought a tambourine and cassette player since I don’t think I’ll be able to find any radio stations in space. Last, but not least, I brought some wooden blocks to play with and build different fun things with! (sorry this is a little lame, I just restarted my island the other day)​

Hello fellow cadets, here are me and my belongings:

First up, we've got a rice cooker, because as we know, asians cannot survive without rice- and I can't trust the canteen to have my needs. Next up are my iPad and headphones so so that I can draw, listen to music, and browse the internet in peace! I'm a very sleepy girl so I brought a nice cozy futon that I can retreat to at any time. Lastly, is my froggy chair, who I would like to take to space as a companion, and also because I get tired to easily and always need to sit down.

For my outfit, I am wearing a starry overall dress outfit with thick socks to keep me cozy and warm in the cold vast space. Had to wear some star boppers as well for fun!! and I need glasses to see​

Hi everyone! Coach checking in with his belongings checklist:

- My handy dandy suitcase, with some outfits and room for any souvenirs I purchase from intergalactic gift shops
- A life ring, in case somebody goes flying out the airlock and needs rescuing
- Some souvenir chocolates, as a peace offering to any alien lifeforms we may encounter
- Mr Duck, a good luck charm and ducks are said to be good friends with the elusive Space Whale
- A jar of sweets, for helping practise for the Count the Bottle event, and once I've given up (a few minutes in) , a tasty snack to be shared with all!

My outfit is a lovely green space suit, team coloured ! Not sure a costume will be space grade quality, but I'll soon find out.

my outfit allows me to be super comfortable – a green fuzzy vest for warmth, cargo jeans for lounging around in, and star boppers to act as headlights in the event that there’s a power cut.

denim cushion – when i get sleepy on a space adventure, comfort for my head is a must!

tinned cans – including back-up baked beans and tinned peaches that i’ll share around with my crewmates in actually, nevermind. they’re a staple of my diet (yes, really).

frying pan – multi-purpose. allows me to be both ready to cook intergalactic food and whack any surprise visitors.

hornsby’s photo – looking at my baby boy’s photo will provide me with comfort after decimation.

switch lite – a source of relaxation from the destruction. there will be real space gamer hours. maybe there’ll be wi-fi whilst we’re amongst the cosmos?

Hi everyone, Libra checking in.

I wasn't sure what to wear, but thought I couldn't go wrong with a warm and cozy sweater (just in case the temperature is a little chilly). I got some comfortable boots as well, because we'll probably be doing quite some walking. Of course pants with pockets (you can never have too many pockets !). And finally a hibiscus hairpin because I think it's simply beautiful.

What I brought with me :

• Paper and pen to take notes. Also a dictionary in case I need to communicate in another language.
• A board game to play with the other crewmates.
• Potted flowers ; to brighten up any room.
• A CD player ; if there is no radio to listen to, I can play some CD's instead.
• A treasure map. It's a souvenir from a trip a long time ago and I bring it with me now as a good luck charm !

Time for practicality !

As I took of in space, I stumbled forward and broke my glasses - sorry about that. My outfit is a space overall that I would be wearing across the spaceship. Many pockets, I can easily remove the top if it's too hot, and I look like a fancy astronaut ! All practical ! ... except my glasses, now...

As for the items I bought with me:

- A sewing box. Call me if you need someone to patch your clothes, because I know I'm the type to tear a hole in my socks
- Some fragrance sticks for aromatherapy. This is something meaningful to me and I want to smell familiar odors when I go back into my room. My roommate has no problem with it, thankfully !
- An electronic repair kit. In case there's a problem aboard the ship.
- A shovel... At first I thought I could single-handedly fight off any asteroid coming out way with that but it looks like it's actually way bigger than I imagined. And to think I could've saved the world if it was a tiny bit smaller !
- A freshly baked log. And yes, I love baking ! I decided to bring this to share with my fellow crewmates. Maybe if they like it well enough they'll come to my bakery back on earth ... It's vegan and gluten free !

Eeeeeeppppp I’m going to space What else could I wear apart from my favourite starry dress (wear it so often it really could do with a wash ) Starry boppers because well I’m going to space! I’m also wearing comfy purple trainers as I plan on doing some moon walking. Galaxy backpack completes the outfit as I need somewhere to pack all my stuff.

My chosen items to pack for space:

Toilet rolls as camp never has enough and I don’t think you can just go to the space shop

Whoopee cushion. Just for giggles

Sugar cookies for midnight feast and sharing with friends.

Purple toothbrush and holder. Got to keep teeth clean especially after the cookies.

Last but not least, beary bear to help me sleep at night if I get scared

Excited for my trip to space I decided to wear my space crew dress! My red bow keeps my hair out of my face in case we lose gravity in the ship. Finally I wore my trusty teddy bear back pack!

• My laptop for writing, watching movies, and browsing the internet.
• Headphones so I can listen to music late at night without waking up all the other campers.
• Tea set for making late night and early morning cups of tea
• My T-Rex to keep me company
• Space hamster because who would ever want to explore space without one!

COMFY COTTAGE KATANA VIBES ONLY

I kinda hate travelling, because one of the worse parts is how uncomfortable everything is! So I have chosen to wear my little mage shoes, my pretty sundress and cardi, and my luscious sun hat that smells of home.

- I NEED to experience cheese on the moon, as well as general snacking in space. How can you live without snackies??

- DRAWING, idk what im going to see, but it’s probably cool and will inspire me to draw. Can also use the paper for games and journaling

- a star clock that helps me know what time is is AND lights up the room, I also need a nightlight because the dark is scary

- my lil puppers will keep me company throughout the entire journey

- okay I’m not trying to be rude to any potential other life forms, but if you attack me I’ll say that you started it. Don’t mess with me and puppers
