I have been testing this out for quite some bit.
There were theories that Phineas shows up in the city on special events, there was one were Phineas only comes on sunny days, there were plenty of speculation.

all the players in your town have logged in.</big>

Example: Your 3 siblings and yourself play City Folk. You have all logged into City Folk at some point in the same day. Result: Phineas will be in the city the next day.

Note: The amount of time you play does not matter.

I don't think that is correct.
There are four of us living in my town(myself and my siblings), and only 3 of us play actively every day, where my sister has only played her character twice, and that was back in April.

If anything, I would say that Phineas' appearance in the city is random.

What do you mean?


I'm not saying that Phineas comes if there are 4 players in your town.
I'm saying if all the existing players in your town are logged into one day, the next day Phineas is in the city.

I know exactly what you're saying.

P1, P2, P3, and P4 live in town. If the owner of each character logs in and plays for a few minutes, then Phineas will be in the city the next day.

But that's just not the case with my town.

P1, P2, P3 and P4 all live in town. P1, 2 and 3 play daily, where as P4 plays once every several months. Phineas still appears in the city 2-3 times a week, sometimes more.

That could just be one of the sure-fire methods of getting him to show up, where as any other time could just be random.

If you play everyday, then in theory, Phineas should be in the city IF it isn't raining or snowing.

It also has to be sunny all the way and not cloudy.

Only I play City folk and once everybody did log on and I got Phineas the next day. Thats why I never get him anymore...
